Can we please have Mana Pots back???

Because multiple champions are balanced around stronger abilities that cost more mana (relatively speaking) in early phase. Mana pots completely removed what was usually their one (and sometimes only) significant weakness.

Because riot is slowly phasing out mana as a resource. Notice any new champion with a mana bar doesn't actually ever go oom. Reworked champions get the same treatment. Played veigar yesterday and spammed skills in lane and never ran out of mana until level 5. Bought and never went oom again.

They got rid of mana pots largely because people were using their abilities early in lane and popping pots in order to continue laning.

Essentially, from riots perspective, it did not feel like a resource and it did not punish players for mismanaging their mana.

This is one of the reasons they got rid of a lot of mana regen items or significantly lowered mana regen on specific items.

Now they did tweak mana regen bases on some mages and the cost of some abilities in the mid season mage update to compensate for the loss of mana pots and mana regen, but in general they felt that they were simply an "abused" item that was extremely cost effective. I think they were 35 gold when they were in the game.

I do think they should bring them back, just raise the cost like they did with potions.

they were pretty broken. a lot of players didnt realize it lower. but basically you could just buy two or three and spam spam spam in lane to bully people out of lane who didnt buy their pots themselves.

I basically abused Lux freelo buy abusing mana pots and rushing pre nerfed luden's last season. without mana pots now you know which champs are gated by their mana costs.

I think you only needed to buy 2 at the start and 3 on an early back and you would be fine. I liked mana pots and I think they will probably bring them back at a higher cost.
