Some reasonable buffs to make Ornn viable without breaking him (Level 7 Ornn)

As the title says...

As a level 7 Ornn, it is sad to see that he is barely viable in both solo queue and pro play. He is badly in need of his shield and his scalings buffed to make AP Ornn a viable option (as well as opening more possibilities in building him).

Passive: Living Forge

Additional armor and magic resist increased from 10% to 30%

Ornn can now have infinite upgrades instead of two.

W: Bellows Breath

Unstoppable duration increased from 0.75 seconds to 1 second

New Effect Ornn now shields himself for 14% of his maximum health for 4 seconds all ranks

R: Call of the Forge God

AP scaling increased from 20% to 100%


Reasons For These Buffs:

  • Buffing the additional armor and magic resist from all sources will allow Ornn to be more tankier.
  • The buff to Bellows Breath is basically a revert of Patch 9.1, but with added buffs.
  • Buffing the AP scaling to 100% on his ultimate will open up the possibility of AP Ornn: item 3390 item 3151 item 3020 item 3135 item 3165 item 3374

Ok... so make him be a pick or name champion is your definition of "viable without breaking him"? He already is viable. Why are you giving him so many buffs like less than 45% winrate? He is very close to 50% so he does not need this many buffs. Hell increasing how much extra resistances he gets by that much will already make him borderline broken. Then there's the "a crew you guys I want all of the upgrades!" Passive you give him and then a completely unnecessary gigantic buff to his ult... but sure this won't break him at all in the slightest.

Those buffs would push him way over the edge, since you’re giving to him but taking nothing away. 30% armor and mr would be the same as Malphite gets just in armor, and Ornn brings a lot more to the table.

Giving him a Shield and Unstoppable, without addressing the damage they left on Bellows Breath, would make him way too strong in lane.

100% AP ult..I’d rather not have another round of full AP Malphite.

Infinite upgrades..honestly meh. He has three main masterworks items he builds, Frozen Fist, Forgefire Cape, and Infernal Mask. So you’d first have to make at least three more, or accept that he’d start building duplicate or less efficient items. But he needs the passives of other tank items as well, so, I’m honestly gonna say a no on this.

These would absolutely break him.
