Big thing nobody has noticed about LDR

Lord Dominik's Regards gives % increased damage against targets with more health than you, right? Right.

The thing is, once the enemy has over 500 more health than you, stacking health actually becomes the most effective way to combat it since the damage% is based off of your damage, not their health. This item is actually strongest right at 500 health difference, which is either a major oversight on the side of the balance team, or someone secretly wanting LW and co. to be really strong against squishies.

If they want to make this item and its component Giant Slayer actually be most effective against tanks and minimally effective against squishies, the % bonus damage has to ramp up exponentially for the more health you have rather than at a flat rate, while having a much higher health difference cap. What this means is that for most health values between 0 and say 750 health difference, the % amp is negligible, but after that it ramps up more quickly, effectively meaning you can actually optimize your health stacking against the item to a certain degree. If this new system were put in, I'd also suggest increasing the health difference cap to 1500, since in actuality, that is where the giant slayer passive should be at its strongest.

For example, if it used this equation to calculate the % damage amp: +(0.25% increased damage per 150 HP difference x (1.1 x number of previous stacks after the first)) total damage increase, then:

150 more HP = 0.25% increased damage 300 more HP = 0.55% increased damage 450 more HP = 1.65% increased damage 600 more HP = 3.3% increased damage 750 more HP = 5.5% increased damage 900 more HP = 8.25% increased damage 1050 more HP = 11.55% increased damage 1200 more HP = 15.4% increased damage 1350 more HP = 19.8% increased damage 1500 more HP = 24.75% increased damage

In correlation with this change, I think that bigger ticket tank itemization should be significantly buffed to compensate for having a higher cap, but overall having it scale up like this is healthier for the game. DON'T BE ALARMED BY THE HIGHER SUGGESTED % DAMAGE AMP!

I also have a chart showing how this new exponential scaling model is a significant help to lower health targets LDR Passive Exponential Scaling

If you're going to down vote, please at least have the decency to say why.

pretty much everyone already knows this. There's even a major thread with people complaining about it. to note im not downvoting you but this post, while giving decent numbers, is invariable getting deemed a shit post because you're literally stating what's obvious to basically the entire community.

What everybody has been saying is that it is too effective against squishies, not that it is most effective against squishies. There is a difference.
