Cassiopeia is still not moving in the direction we want. We've tried working with you to make her passive feel better, we've shot out suggestions to make her feel like herself again. You know we don't want Twin Fang to be her central mechanic, and that we don't like the stacking passive. We don't want a late game hyper carry mage, and we certainly don't want to go another three months before any headway is made.

She cannot be a hyper carry without being rebuilt from the ground up. Her kit was designed with bullying and safe poking in mind, and tweaking her power curve isn't going to magically change that.

You don't seem to understand (or care about) the community's problems with her kit, and for this reason, after three months of backwards progress, I'd like you to hand the Cassiopeia rework to someone else. This is not to say that you can't fix her, but rather it may just be time for a fresh set of eyes. Your unwavering devotion to this imaginary hyper carry mage is appreciated, but Cassiopeia is not it.

Maybe you can take everything you've learned during this process and create a champion that can make your ideals come to life.

This is the most respectful, calm way to word the undying hatred and rage I've developed towards Stashu. Well done, and well said.

Even though his primary excuse for dodging posts he finds uncomfortable is that people are being too rude and mean - you've avoided that. He will still ignore it though. Unfortunately. =\

Hahaha. For some reason i felt like reading old post-revamp Eve posts when she used to be an assassin. Oh no wait.. Players didn't care about her. But all in all we recieved what we wanted "tank female using her fists (and legs)".

Back to main topic: I really hope they'll reverse those changes. Otherwise i'll have 1 more useless revamped champion i hate to play, which i cannot refund..

Cassy current state (from a player view):

Starting the game without (yeah, the word is without cause you gotta farm for it) a passive hits hard, and more, to a no-mobility/mana starving champion like Cassy. You can make 1000 tweaks, scalings, etc. But one thing is sure: it won't work. She needs something to work with FROM LVL 1, not @x-y quantity of stacks. And, currently, even if you manage to stack em, it does not give the impact it should be/felt considering the effort it requires. That's what needs an in-look 'experimentation' and its not getting it.

My personal insight of WHY its not working (with the stacking passive idea at the current state):

Game scales in different ways while progressing (with game - i mean an actual match) Champion diversity too behave abruptly at several stages of the match. This match has several states at which the current passive does not "adapt" - How's that? - The current goal of the passive is aimed for "powerbuilding" (as a type of hypercarry or w/e) without the assets to powerbuild properly (skills/itemization). Also, you CAN'T win a game with just RAW POWER; no, nor beginning without a passive. You need some kind of tool to defend yourself at the early stages (and its been assigned wrongly to Q, W & E), if not, it will not matter if the champion has power later in the game if it cannot reach that 'state' of the game then it becomes useless aswell.

Why is utility being left aside and make it rely on runes, and itemization? Why is the power being left imprisoned in a passive-state-stack-reliant manner?

Cause its what's happening right now if you ask me (we are talking about passive only here). The buff utility on her E about healing an amount was nice (using this as reference of good idea), certain itemization still would allow this without that utility buff, but was nice as an addition to her E rework. However, we still stuck with a non-working-lvl-1 passive; meaning: not useful for competition. Where even the slightest difference becomes a huge difference.

Why then, is not more utility added instead of RAW power? The only utility thing is the 25% cooldown and it was not necessary. When the player reaches these quantity of stacks needed, you will only get a 'meh' reaction from them. Passive screams: Not really useful utility.

You may have a lot of power, but if the power cannot be landed nor reach its target, nor even be properly acquired, it becomes then, useless. And that's what's happening at ALL the levels/states of the MATCH. Even if you stack the proper quantity, it may not be the proper time of which its usefulness should have appeared. In a more easy to digest manner: "you can farm the quantity in 2025 min, or you can farm the quantity in 4050". What does it means? you could have a great match, and being "at date" with the amount of stacks needed, or you could be "left behind" and suffer a painful game-thru for full-filling the stack request. Without mentioning that "you begin the match with no passive". While in example, other champions ALREADY have their passive UP and running from level 1 to the end of the match.

Also, her current poke-damage [Q] makes her unavailable from level 1. Not enough presence in lane. Not enough fear. Can be poked easily, out scaled, out damaged. Without mention she is considerable more hard to learn/use (than fizz for example), and, not getting as much reward for playing her in a overall view.

All im saying is: she needs a very deep-sharp-mind-gameplay insight, cause currently, she has no means to be picked. At all.

On a sidenote. Cassiopeia's popularity is at an all time low. After Urgot she is the least popular champion ingame. There are more than 120 champions the community would take rather than her. http://www.lolking.net/champions/ http://www.leagueofgraphs.com/champions/stats/by-global-popularity

It's less about her powerlevel than how 1 dimensional and blunt she has become. This passive and overloading of E are horrible.

The stack passive have to go. It's not about how you get stacks or about much stacks she needs. A passive with the sole design of holding her back will never be fun.

Anything that doesn't agree with Stashu's awful passive design is rude and mean. He will ignore anything that doesn't align with his "late game power fantasy". Yeah, it's a real fantasy anemically shitting about for half an hour before you can be an actual contributing member of the team. Nevermind the usual fantasy of being a slippery snake poisoning your enemies and then going in for the kill. Her 'fantasy" now is tickling the enemy with slightly dirty water and then hoping they are close enough for her to do the one move that actually hurts, while waiting impatiently for the time when she might actually do about the same amount of damage she did before this travesty.

I am confused why people don't want twin fang to the central mechanic. To be honest i haven't been reading any of the arguments for and against cass, but from what i see the changes are pretty cool. The changes might be underwhelming, it just looks like everyone i hating on this guy and not even giving cass a real chance. The passive seems cool as fuck, even though it might take too long to ramp up, i think it's a awesome idea.
