Title. Riot is really bending the vision system backwards over the counter-top and giving it a good dicking. The vision system is so pathetic now it might as well be nonexistent. At least if I can buy green wards as a jungler, I can get some vision, but in low Silver, nobody's going to pink and blue the map, and even then, 10 wards is not enough.

Seriously, the people at Riot must have been on that dank shit when they decided to pull Stealth Wards from the shop. I haven't watched any streams lately, but I highly doubt any of the pros thought it was a good idea. I highly doubt anybody outside of Riot thought it was a good idea. Hell, there are probably some people within Riot that thought it was a bad idea!

TL;DR Stealth Wards are still gone and I'm still salty.

Being rude is not helpful, and there were perfectly legitimate reasons from Riot to remove green wards. You may disagree with their ultimate objective (Vision should be a strategic decision, not just "ward as much as possible", and not heavily correlated with which team is ahead), but removing wards was actually a good step toward that objective.

Also, even if your thread gets 300 votes, if you are just being rude without questioning that objective, they won't revert the change, because once again, it is actually helping toward that objective. You won't get a revert just by crying over the symptoms if you don't beat the root cause.

There was no good reason if you wanted to be able to have total vision of half the map. Riot doesn't want that. Hence, wards became scarce. The current system's intent is to force a team to either pool vision resources around whatever objective they want to take or spread them out to get a general idea of what's going on. That was never conveyed, which is a problem. Teams have to work together if they want decent vision, but nothing was or is being communicated.
