Support Nerfs? Really?

In patch 8.12, we saw nerfs to supports, , , and . There healing/sheilding increase was reduced by about 20%. And, I was thinking. Is it really necessary? Now, the removal of the banner of command is something I actually agree with. But come on. They already indirectly nerfed supports for removing the ultimate hat. The only supports that can wield nimbus cloak are now just and . The shields nerfs aren't even that necessary. Though possible and admittedly using it myself, support just took a hit when it almost never existed. No one maxes E, in fact, it's the least prioritized ability for all of Orianna. E doesn't give any side affect buffs, like , which even that didn't get nerfed. The nerfs were so biased to certain champions and not the whole support shield wielders. Now, I'm not saying they should nerf all shields, hell nah. But Really? They said its for people who deals with low-health shield peel baits. When really, you don't see that many of them used in montages in youtube. Riot, you already screwed supports with the removal of Ultimate hat.
