Lux did NOT need to be buffed

And everybody in Riot who approved of her buff is clearly stupid. Once more Lux did NOT need to be buffed as she ALREADY had a 50%+ win-rate. Now it's climbing, just like when they did shit with Ahri, calling it now : Soon to be 70%. Currently 9th highest win-rate as of this post and she did NOT need to be buffed !

The buff is probably meant for really good players. In LCS/LCK/LPL, she wasn't considered a good pick.

Lcs is probably 0.00001% of the playerbase, why balance around that?

Because apparently the LCS players are the ones that "understand the game the best" plus it gets League with a lot of fan base out of streaming their flashy games. Or at least that is riot logic behind it, not that I agree to it.

Balance is meant to be based on optimal play or you're simply doing it wrong. It makes absolutely zero sense to balance around people playing poorly. For example, if Sivir's spellshield is never used correctly by certain players and Riot then buffs it to a 10 second duration, that would completely ruin the game when a good Sivir player takes advantage of it.

It beats the purpose when only 1 out of 10k players can use it correctly thou, since the other 9,999 will be left with a sensation of unbalanced champion anyway.

The question is whether you want a truly balanced game or merely the illusion of one. If you want real balance, you must assume optimal play when making tweaks.

Statistically the game should be balanced somewhere around Gold and not around the skews of LCS, after all the LCS manages to just play on a small pool of champions that are strong on each patchs, if a few champions (on the hands of skilled players) get out of hand, because the game is balanced on less skilled players, the pro players will simply pick those and truly nothing would have changed for them besides they are using champ X instead of Y.
