Ekko is an annoying champ that has an answer to everything... He has dashes, a slow, an AOE stun, and an ult that makes it so that all that damage you did to him is denied, you get hit with a lot of damage and then he goes back to a safe place... Riot admits that his outplay potential in in his squishiness, but when someone builds him tank, he still hits like a truck and you can't kill him....
So, how do you deal with this?

The same thing you do with champs with no disengage in every scenario......
Since when lacks a disengage ? She has her invisibility and her ult (to a minion) to escape.
isn't really meant to disengage, but you can use your slow and ult to escape.
In addition, you can build 
and 
for mobility, and generally try to avoid engagements you don't think you'll win.
Ekko isn't usually used in mid lane, (where diana and akali are seen), but both and are assasins, which are supposed to be countered by tanks.

Never thought I would ever read that..... I see him more mid than anywhere else though...
It is still a hell of a lane... only having 20 CS at lv 6

Yasuo keeps me from starting my combos... Ekko lets my combos happen, and then cancels out the result and dealing a (comparable) ton of damage in the process.
BahdHinny1 votesI rarely run into Ekko, but I find lanning against him pretty easily, his Q slows down once it hits a minion making it simple to dodge. You can back off if he yells meaning he's gonna use his W.
As for killing tank Ekko I have no idea. As you said he is super slippery with a ranged slow and a dash gap closer that allows him to go through walls.
Maybe you can tell your team kill him first before starting a teamfight. I know how you feel though, when he's tanky in a team fight and stuns 3-5 members of your team, it's pretty ugly
