Shen rework, good or bad???
Simple just vote and comment. Mention other champs that you would rework first if you think this is a bad idea. Riot please listen to the people.

Should've put a mixed option.
Idk how to vote this because I have mixed feelings. I think overall the update is really solid, however he needs more damage in his kit so until that changes, i'm favoring the current shen more.
the new shen is absolute rubbish. his skills are useless, they dont benefit the team cause u need to get behind the enemy just to slow them with ur "Q" and a slow, wtf good is a slow when the only support he offers is a sloOOoOOOwWwW a shit buff pad and the smallest taunt time u have ever seen.... WTF was going through riots head when they thought this was better than old shen... plz DELETE SHEN, oh and while ur at it DELETE evelynn, shes the prodigal daughter of a goats "A" hole and shen. and lets be absolutly honest, what could b worse than getting shen or evelynn in an ARAM... plz its an instant loss. turns the whole game into a 4 v 5. but hey lets be honest ur only going to rework an already working character cause thats just what Riot does!!!! my bet is they rework fiddle sticks before any changes to these 2 are made!!

Well his sustain his gone so i think hes going to be less of a safe pick.
I do like the rework but ine thing are those ap ratios, cmon where is he going to get ap from?
Shen now is a really strong dueler for solo lane, and a very useful support with his protection with ult, e AND new w so your adc can't be AA'd Which helps his trades in lane and as a support without hurting either.
Only micromanagement is the sword can only be moved with q or if you walk too far away (does not orianna ball back to you but jumps around closer to you )

I know he looks cool and everything with his sword that you can bring with you, but as a shen main from season 3 I really think it took all the essence that was shen. Shen -for me at least- was all about sustain, being a lane bully and making your laner feel annoyed because of your harass and most imortantly your good sustain. Your Q as boring as it was was a good kiting, farming and healing kit. Also as a support it gives your adc heal if they are good enough to notice. Now his new Q has no range, meaning you will have to trade full melee with champion. I just had a game with shen where i stomped ryze which i shouldn't because of a little tweak in my build and endless sustain. I literally went base after level 8 or so between ults and then teleporting back. Now imagine laning vs ryze or any other lane bully without your ranged Q, Imagine having to go full melee vs an Irelia for ex or Xin or garen-who i cancel his healing every 5 secs or so. Your laning phase is now a nightmare vs any good bruiser. as of the W rework, i think it is much better than the old useless one anyway but keep in mind that ap shen is now off limits. Well Ap shen is a abad idea anyway ;) As of the passive , i think people underestimated his KI strike. I liked it and was perfectly fine with it. The new shield is good but almost as useful as the old W for me. My thoughts so far is that they Destroyed my lane bullying favorite top laner.

Here's my thoughts.... I just watch some of a PBE game of shen. I think it sucks. It seems you have little to no control of his sword and can only call it to you. Which means no poke without full trading.
His W is like a shield aoe blind??? Stops enemy autos when you are in the zone. Sounds nice in team fights and a supp roll. But now sword is being used for defense. Which means you cant really use your Q for more dmg. That really doesn't matter all that much because all the enemy hast to do is not stand between you and the sword and they won't be hit by it. So without the ability to place his sword, more like 
playing with balls, you have little choice but to all in or defend. His new kit seems like a really bad supp at best. Where you have to count on your adc to go balls deep in fights with you.
Here the combo I see happening. You place the sword in the lane near you. Wait for Q CD to rest. E dash in to their supp or adc, probably work the sup down first so your not super dead yet. W your auto blocking shield dodge thing to not take dmg from the adc. Then RUN as you W wears off. Wash rinse repeat.
Top lane combo: Learn to turret farm or drop pants bend over and prepare with lube.
Easy fix. Don't change SHEN. Only fix his Quasimodo walk.
Or take a page from my book guys. Make his first Q place his sword like I do my balls. Then his Second Q brings it to him and hover on him. When he's X distance away it automatically comes to him just like my balls.
But you only have one ball.

I think the new stuff looks neat. I've always wanted to learn Shen for his E and R so changing the other stuff around doesn't mean much to me.

As a Veteran Shen player, I personally think he's good. Well, I do not recommend people who play bursty champions to play Shen. He's now not a tank/fighter anymore. He's a full on tank that relies on his teammates a lot to focus on objectives like towers.
