Just wondering. I've seen his massive nerf history, and because of this, I am quite afraid to play him. Is he viable?
I looked in the PBE and found that they are going to make his W AoE. That means that all of Gragas's abilities are AoE. I wonder if that would be strong...
Vexful3 votesYou'll have to have a large amount of skill on Gragas to fight someone of medium skill on say Vi. He got overnerfed because he went from a strong top, to a strong jungle, and Riot got annoyed at all the Gragas limelight in LCS.

Weathered2 votesHonestly I've not found any trouble with Gragas in the jungle. I didn't play him in his hayday, but even now after the nerfs he is just fine if you know how to combo and flash bodyslam. You can get fed as Gragas even with going tank.
He's one of those "technically not a good winrate" but "mains still do really well" champions. 8/10 would recommend Gragas.
