Fiddlesticks drain vs rework Akali shroud
After many years of facing Akali and seeing them hilariously die, as they got drained within their shrouds, I was wondering if the rework Akali's new shroud cancels Fiddle's drain?

I just tested it and it does not cancel it
Yes it may cancel, or should since becomes untargetable.
Akali's shroud doesn't stop incoming damage. It only prevents further targeting after the fact.
Fiddle's drain is a tether, so she can't break the tether by just shrouding. However, she can shroud before engaging so you can't fear, crow, or tether her directly, so I'd be careful playing Fiddle into her anyway.
With the damage she has, your drain won't save you. Also I'm pretty sure her E makes her dash out of range.
I'm think its the same conditioning as vlad's Pool.
(There is a difference, between Untargetable vs Unvulnerable)
It does not cancel any persisting damage on akali, it just makes her untargetable while in it, its similar to vlads pool and Fizz's Trollpole, Fiddlesticks will still sit there draining her health.
