For people trying to climb low ELO bronze/silver/gold

Just learn to last hit. Seriously. People in these elo's don't know how to farm and if you do it won't even matter if you get kills because you'll be massively ahead of them in gold simply through farming.

Bad at CSing or on a champ not good at last hitting? Run minion dematerializer. This rune is amazing and will improve your last hitting by a fuck ton. Still bad at CSIng? Go into a custom and learn to last hit.

There are so many people that claim to know how to farm but they really don't. So many people miss farm and just say oh well I got the rest.... No, that 1 piece of farm adds up. The less farm you miss, the bigger the lead you'll get. There is no "oh well" if you want to climb if you are constantly missing random CS every wave.

CS is extremely important in this game, if you don't want to learn it I recommend playing Heroes of the Storm or stop worrying about ranking up because you obviously aren't serious about it if you aren't willing to improve.

It's not your teamates holding you back in these elo's, it's you.

Also to fello support mains, learn to pressure a lane if you want to climb. Being passive while the rest of your team feeds isn't going to win you games. Crush the enemy bot lane or else it's going to be a 50/50 on whose team is worse. Carry hard and if you get camped, then you can play passive and turtle.

also item builds. So many times people are building the wrong items just because it's what they've always built.

Items are constantly changing and the optimal items/build order for the goal you and your champion has set out to do is ever changing, And so too should the order you build them in.

Combo that with the CS you talked about....

Clearly a force to be reckoned with.

Yep, need to keep up with item builds and knowing what's best for your champ.

The biggest issues in low elo are:

Focusing kills over CS. Dropping game momentum and continuing to farm although huge leads. Junglers farming after 20 minutes and refusing to lane/help fights/ close game which also hurts momentum. Throwing games cause they are filled support.

I used to play jungle pretty frequently - one thing I think folks don't realize is if the laners aren't warding and helping to stop the enemy from counter jungling, or say, watch the map and help when your jungler is getting jumped by the enemy jungler and a laner nearby, or if your jungler comes out to gank and you don't help and they die - now your jungler is behind. In both level, and gold/items built. If he doesn't play catch up for a few minutes and avoid the team fights, he's likely to just be a free kill for the other team.

Obviously if you're 20% hp and out of mana when your jungler comes to gank, you should ping him a warning and not go all in. But there's been times when the enemy bot lane has my bot pushed back against their own turret, and are both 50% hp, and I go in... and get 2v1'd while my botlane backs.

Junglers aren't superman. Help them help you. Leash their first buff kill. If you're on the other side of the map, ward their other buff at around the one minute mark. Buy control wards and use them. Watch the map. Don't just let your jungler get ganked right on the other side of the jungle wall from you and then flame them when you didn't even both pinging that your laner was missing (let alone follow your laner to make their gank unsuccessful in the first place).

Another part of why I main support, now. I got tired of getting flamed by people who have no idea what they're even talking about.

Tbh in low elo wards dont even do anything. People will see them coming and still sit in lane. Almost a waste of time even using them lol

Sad but true :(

If I earned 1 LP for every time I see the jungler on my river bush ward or tribush pink and ping as I start backing toward our turret, and my ADC gets blown up 3v1, I'd be out of Bronze by now.

I'm horrible at last-hitting, that's why I've turned into a support main.

Nothing I hate more than engaging the enemy 30-40% hp enemy ADC or mage support in the middle of the lane and my full health ADC runs back to the turret pinging 'be careful' at me.

As much as good CS will help you climb it's not as important as mechanics and actually knowing how to pressure the other laners.

For example roaming. Way to many people in low elo just refuse to roam and stay in lane 24/7, combine it with horrible CS and you are going to lose the game unless you get carried.

Another example is using your autos, way to many people in low elo refuse to auto for some weird reason when it could mean the difference in life or death.

You remember the guy in bronze that had 10 CS a minute but did not help his team? He did not win games with his perfect CS.
