They do not have their place in meta. I'm not sure what they supposed to do. Explain me please.

They can't be useful without heavy tanky CC jungler for engage/tanking part of damage. They need really strong backline apc and adc otherwise they're getting focused first. They can't really splitpush (Killing opponents 1v2 sometimes at side lanes doesnt count) since they deal 0 dmg to turrets and structures. Current itemization do not worth with them. (item 3748 item 3053 are items for Fiora MasterYi) Actually they do not stomp 1v1 opponents in lane.

So tell me what are you going to do with that. No one's picking Illaoi, Darius and Garen in LCS after worlds.

Ahem. They do not bring anything USEFUL for their team. They look scary only on paper.

garen is ok. even in a meta dominated by adc and assassins, his villain mechanic makes him useful enough to shut down snowballing opponents.

the others are pretty iffy. theyve been hit with the nerf hammer too hard or too many times. the last skarner nerf didnt make sense for example.

what really sucks are the repeated health nerfs to items and masteries.

Darius can kind of fit in this meta, he just runs in and fucks everything up. Garen maybe, also. But definetely not Illaoi or morde.

darius graen and illioa are great split pushers the all have a AA reset that makes them do more to turret mid game they can do 1000 to a turret in 2 auto attacks and mord just is't in a good spot
