Let's talk Aurelion's viability

Can we just all agree that this champion as a whole is lackluster? At first I though, "Wow, he looks very interesting!" but if you compare him to other strong AP picks like Diana / Fizz / Akali / Veigar / etc. who are also being outclassed by AD assassins, what's the point?

You can't expect every new champion to outdo the former but if Vel'Koz failed to retain popularity, what makes Aurelion Sol any different? Velkoz

Props to Riot for keeping him balanced and somewhat normal -- considering he's this ferocious being - however, his kit is nothing ground breaking. I guess this is my personal opinion, but I'd like some feedback on this.

i think of him as a strong mage that doesnt sit back but also doesnt get up front

he has a unique mechanic as a mage being unable to dodge skillshots bcuz of his E passive and his ganks are amazing. its like an auto path that is a straight line

while he is weak to ad assassins etc, who fucking isnt...?!

srsly he is strong enough too, if he lands a good ult on say a zed, under tower the zed is finished

he plays like a syndra but more tanky i feel

He suffers from the same thing that Bard did. He is unique which in the end won't be a bad thing he will just have a very dedicated fanbase.
