What runes do you favour?

Masteries?

Item Order?

Standard Ap runes but I think adpo runes work more efficient

12-18-0 thunderlords Skill level is dependant ok match up

Item order would be ideally hex But against lb I'd get null mantle into hex and finish

Ionian or rylai- > abysal or zhoyas

void if they have tons of mr Deathcap if not then finish Don't need void if they aren't stacking mr

Then you can get Lich as final item

Is Rylais first (after Hexcore) the only option though?

What about Ludden or Rabadon first? You'll lose too much damage from not having the slow or something?

If you're going Rylais first, can you follow up with Ludden or Rabadon for more raw AP instead of going CDR? What are the drawbacks?

Rylai is the most ideal as it gives viktor defence and cc which synergies with his ult

Viktor does a ton of dmg with hexcore upgrade so rushing luden isn't ideal bc viktor doesn't need to make constant roams like an assassin to make use of ludens

Rabadon isn't a viable buy as a first item bc it is not cost efficient and needs at least two items to make sure of its stats

The drawbacks is raw Ap is only good when your ahead in lane as going with the full dps build will make you extremely squishy

The standard CDr and ryalis build gives viktor the ability to kite safety

Which is essential on viktor as he is a squishy control Mage late game
