The Warrior Jungle Enchantment and why it should be changed.

I feel that there needs to be a change to the warrior jungle enchantment I feel that way because it seems inferior to the other jungle enchantments, for starters the other jungle enchantments can be chosen for a build because they may have an element that benefits the champion the player using the jungle enchantment is using, such as item 3710 item 3718 item 3722 item 3726 for MasterYi . Or because it works with other items that they are using such as item 3709 item 3717 item 3721 item 3725 with item 3748 . This is possible because the other jungle enchantments all have UNIQUE PASSIVES. item 3708 item 3716 item 3720 item 3724 possess spellblade, item 3709 item 3717 item 3721 item 3725 possesses immolate, item 3710 item 3718 item 3722 item 3726 is certainly unique enough. But Warrior, What is Warrior? Warrior is PLAIN SIMPLE STATS. Please Note: I AM NOT TRYING TO SAY THAT WARRIOR HAS BAD STATS. For an item, it has very decent stats, but what else does it have? nothing. If jungle items were just stats it would be very strong, and cinderhulk would be weak if you weren't playing Sion in which case It'd be all you need. Jungle items are not in that state, Jungle items are varying and unique and different. Except for warrior, It is in that state. It's nothing more than a pack of stats. It should be changed. Runeglaive, when it was changed to help out AP junglers was completely reworked, got tons of attention and saw lots of action. The only change that's happened to warrior was a gain of 5 AD so it would have Better STATS. WARRIOR DOES NOT NEED BETTER STATS. Warrior is in need of a rework where it gets a unique passive, an element that works on champions other than the 5 champs that use it well. Rengar Khazix Shaco LeeSinMonkeyKing . And something that makes it work with other AD items. IT NEEDS TO BE MORE THAN JUST STATS. It should keep up with the other jungle items as they get changes. Once again i state. Warrior Badly Needs A Change. Who agrees with me?

Well, what kind of passive effect could Warrior get? Try and brainstorm.

What do the other items so far do? Runeglaive is basically AoE Lichbane (on monsters) for AP champs, Devourer is an extra attack for AS champs, and Cinderhulk is Immolation + extra bonus HP for tanks. So what kind of effect would pair well with champions that go into fights for short amounts of time, or duel one person at a time using abilities along with AA?

  • You could make it so that Warrior gives 5% bonus AD from items, making it into something like Cinderhulk -- but would that make laners run smite just to take it and boost their AD even higher?

  • Perhaps we could give it a Hydra-esque active that makes it do AoE damage to monsters, but does less to minions / champs?

  • Maybe we could make it stack some buff as you fight, and you can unleash it for a burst of damage (AoE or single target, I don't know which)?

  • We could make it apply a bleed (like, 50 damage or so over a few seconds) on every physical attack, and have smite consume it (the bleed) to boost the effect of whatever smite you have (and disabling the passive on that target for a while).

I don't know. Just throwing ideas out there. What do you think Warrior should do?

(Oh, and by the way, Vi, Eve, Pan, Wu, Rek'sai, AD Fizz, AD/Hybrid Teemo and lots of other junglers can use Warrior well.)

Have you seen Rengar with item 3723 item 3142 item 3035 item 3074 item 3158 item 3046 ? I assure you this a VERY scary thing.

He can ignore 35% of armor, gets +30 Armor penetration, AND gets 35% CDR JUST from the build above!

EDIT: Apparently I can't mention Rengar. Check out one I did on Kindred.

Edit 2: WOW! The responses! And thanks to anyone pointing out build changes. I just basicilly saw this (distributed between most often and highest win-rate builds) on Champion.gg for Rengar jungle and just kinda copy pasted it to here. XD

Seriously though, since I have him now thanks for all the advice. NOTE: I AM A NOOB JUNGLER! ANY ADVICE/TIPS FOR ANY JUNGLER WILL HELP ME A LOT! If you want a list of champions I have I COULD add that if you wanted to help me out with any of the ones that you know well in the jungle.

Out the gate, warrior is better than devourer. What I mean by that is that, early game when you buy the enchant, warrior yields more damage in most cases. There are a couple of exceptions (trundle comes to mind, having only one physically damaging ability but nastily empowered auto attacks) but generally speaking that's the truth.

So what does that boil down to? Well, simply put that warrior gives you a gigantic power spoke when you get it (assuming it's not stupid late) which will let you dominate the game for a period of time. However once the devourer person gets their sated, it then pulls ahead for most champs.

I like it as is. I like just buying it and moving on. Sure, you keep getting more bang for your buck the later the game goes on, but I like how warriors effects are immediate, and then I can freely proceed to ignore it. Cinderhulk wants you to buy hp, and devourer wants you to farm jungle. I like ganking lanes and not caring about getting stacks

The irony of people asking for warrior buffs in a nutshell.

I have the same sort of feeling about it.. its almost as if BOTRK automatically makes devourer the better option.. I think it usually does. I would feel that if it were to get a nice trait added to it, you should be willing to give up 5-15 AD depending on what it is, but when you look at the others where the main feature is the passive, I think that would be appropriate.

Something similar to BC movement speed buff, but slightly better might be what I would think for it.. that doesnt stack with black cleaved of course. Or maybe, and this is funky, maybe an activated lifesteal buff of ~30% at level 18 (could scale with level) that lasts for 5 seconds or so. It would make up for the weight in armor penetration in sustaining in the jungle (all other jungle enchants have stats that help with it all around), and give the edge to all-in for early ganks. It would also be unique.

I think it would be really cool to add an effect similar to Red Buff where dealing physical damage could apply a slight slow (maybe 10-15%). Runeglaive is similar to Blue Buff in that it gives CDR and mana regen, so it would be interesting to see a jungle item similar to Red Buff. This would help the AD junglers (who are pretty much all melee) stick to their targets better while not being oppressive. Obviously it would have to trade off some damage to go back to 40 AD or maybe even 35 AD.

Warrior is supposed to be this way. It's the item you get if you want the big power spike early since the junglers that buy warrior tend to be the best early anyway. All of the other jungle items have scaling because nearly every jungler that uses them relies on scaling.

Voluug1310/26/2015, 6:42:16 PM2 votes

No.

A buff to LeeSin or Vi is a terrible idea.

We dont want them being the game's only junglers, and that is what WILL happen when you give them back power.

The hole point of Warrior is for early game gankers its not for late game its for early.

Active? But instead of the next 3 attacks doing 100% crit damage, make it 50% and let the item give half of it's stats during cooldown.
