PSA! Ashe IS a viable Support. PSA!

She's a support as much as LeBlanc is a support. Functional? Yes. Viable? No.

Ashe simply doesn't get enough resources playing support to scale properly, and her utility isn't high enough to warrant the pick. You can make it work, but you're not going to be performing nearly as well as taking an actual support.

The reason why Senna works is because she generates extra gold and stats simply for standing in lane and hitting people. She scales through her passive, not through her items. Ashe needs items, and she doesn't get enough of them as a support.

Every champ "IS a viable Support" if you are good enough on them and the other team sucks. [zombie-brand-clap]

Ashe support works in a "lets see if I can make this work" thing and not a good thing. I mean if you like that, why would you ever pick that over say, Bard? I've played Ashe support and its not good. Its just one of those things where you see if you can win with it. And I've played damn near everything as support. Gangplank, Darius, Ahri, played Azir last night, played Ziggs, Ezreal, you name it I've probably tried supporting with it to success or failure. Ashe does have some things in her kit that lets her be useful outside of items but its still not great. I dont care in normals, but having an Ashe support in ranked is just trolling. Especially if you blind pick it into Leona's/Nauts/Blitz's. You offer some lane poke, some slows, and an ult.

I mean at that point just play Bard. He has slows, he has a long range ult to start fights/save them, you can build ANY item in the game on him; I mean any item in the game, and its not troll (His current best build is Deadmans+RFC), and he just has a more useful kit at all stages of the game.
