I'm just putting your logic into practice with the other champions you believe are actual problems. Rengar is going to get kills regardless of whether people know how to play against him. That's the way the champion works.

30% bonus AD is an absurd amount, and a full build Rengar can wind up with more AD than can Jhin, who has special scaling to turn attack speed into AD.

Please explain what part of my comment is untrue, so I can either refute your point properly or adapt my thinking.

A full build Rengar in a recent game reached roughly 500 AD without elder drake, potions, or baron (flat AD from build, runes, and masteries was 371.6. The bonus from rengar's passive was over 110 AD, and a single infernal put him all the way up at 500). A full build Jhin can reach 800-ish, but that's reliant on elder dragons, potions, baron, or his team buffing his attack speed or base AD.

Don't try to talk logic into him. Clearly he doesn't have an ounce of common sense let alone a general knowledge of game balance.

The 30% is ridiculous. Riot either needs to tone down those numbers or give him a higher requirement / greater risk. He needs to kill 5 unique champions. That's it. How the hell is this difficult for an assassin? You can cap the passive out by mid-game the latest if not earlier. It's THAT easy. Meanwhile Kindred.

Apparently with full dragons, buffs etc. Rengar can reach 1,000+ AD. I've seen him reach 356 AD with 2.5 items: Ghostblade, Warriors, dirk and pickaxe. All extremely cheap AD items. I was a VERY fed talon with 3-4 items and still didn't reach his AD or barely matched him. How is this fair? He also wasn't even doing extremely well. On top of that they gave him really good Ratios and a free crit that, when paired with IE, can 1 auto 1 shot. Way to extend assassin's burst windows, Riot, good job lol

I don't get how this made it out of PBE. I feel like the PBE testers have no common sense like OP, Riot just ignores PBE feedback altogether, or Riot is just playing favorites with Rengar because he is one of the more popular champions. Akali is a less popular champion who only got a tiny rework and that ended up screwing her hard.

Nasas gets free ad on his Q from farming, Veigar from his Q, the NUMBER one reason people die to rengar is because they-dont-ward.

2nd reason is someone leaves the the adc alone

3rd reason No one pays attention.

Nasus does not get any free ad at all, he gets free damage on one ability. He also shares the same weakness as Veigar that I'll get to
While Veigar gets free AP, he is limited by his range and immobility (same as Nasus)
Rengar has cc immunity now remember? Grouping up doesn't necessarily work unless you have extreme burst
you're 3'rd reason isn't even applicable...

Rengar has both mobility + a huge buff of AD that applies to nearly all of his sources of damage which obviously different than Nasus's and Veigar's kit. Not to mention the fact they none of these 3 even share the same class of champions (aka, have different strengths/weaknesses/functions), so idk why you thought comparing their kits were even remotely relevant.

Also what I don't get about your thread is that you want people to learn to play against Rengar, but since you said those 5 champions never get banned, you're implying that we should not learn to to fight against them? Good logic.....

The way his Bonetooth passive works, you literally have to try not to get the free AD from it. It is really hard to avoid it, LOL.

I like playing Rengar, a lot actually, but I can definitely understand why he's banned most of the time.

There is literally no stopping him from getting kills if he goes top. Jungle is a little different because you can just ward and position your wave to not really be gankable. But up top.. I literally kill my enemy laner within the first 45 seconds of laning every time. There's just nothing you can do besides never get any of your farm or have the jungler come lane with you as well. Even then he can probably kill both of you.

I know why people get ate by the Kitty. They don't WARD. I had this Mofo Come top lane too many times and not once was he able to get me cause I warded. This was before I was even using my shrooms. You got people who can play rengar and are good, and you got people who DONT know how to play him and generally pick him cause they assume it's an instant win. It's been proven time and time again wards WIN games. The damn control ward literally shuts everything else down.

And if you see someone first pick a rengar generally you want to PLAY something that can go against him.

Had that Rengar actually been the top laner you would have had a bad time though. I kill Teemos in literally 4 seconds at the beginning of the game every single time.

But yeah, Jungle Rengar is definitely manageable.

Rengar currently needs a nerf and as such he's the one assassin I will keep banning along with the occasional Talon - the rest can go through just fine.

Kha'zix came out very strong after the rework. Perhaps a tad bit. He's just overshadowed by his furry nemesis and his glaring, blatantly overpowerd state.
