Onetrickpony or Allrounder?

Aloa Señores e Señoritas,

I'm pretty sure the topic isn't new, but I'd really like to see if you guys, here in Season 6, without SoloQ, do rather play one (or 2/3..) champion(s) or many champs/roles.

I love playing each and every role, although I somewhat suck as ADC (can only play Twitch and Ez), and when playing ranked I play every role other than ADC. I am even one of the few support "mains" (I play Bardo and Mr Cantmilkthose pretty often), but mostly enjoy supporting a premade botlane.

I personally enjoy being an allrounder, but I really just play for fun. I don't really care so much time be considered a master of a few, or all champions (the latter is virtually impossible) but instead, to be capable with all champions. Even so much as to play around with off-meta roles.

well rounded = definite better player and shows vast superiority.

one trick ponies are just that, you might be a diamond riven/zed player, but once your main gets banned out you're feeding harder than that 0/12 support soraka.

stick to one trick ponies if you are only climbing to a certain point, like g5 for end of season rewards, but if you are serious and want to reach diamond you have to expand your champion pool.

I was a one trick pony until I hit Plat. I pretty much played only Soraka to get me from Silver 5 to Plat 5 in about a month and a half. But I had to expand my champion pool since then so now I play Nautilus, Braum, Janna, Morgana, and Veigar on a regular basis.

I try my best to be an all arounder, I own (i think) 64 champions, and have a Champion Mastery level of about 148, so I try my best to try out everyone I can and play them enough to try and get the hang of them. I've just recently gotten into Volibear since he's free to play, and he's super fun (andsuperbroken) right now.

Proud All rounder from the very beginning. even in my early days of playing league back in S3 i made it my goal to be good with at least a few champions in every role. i also sport a champ mastery of 150ish yet have no one at rank 6-7. a negligible price for being a jack of all trades person.
