Hang on I think you meant to have your analogy go like this:

Riot makes kid pay $7 for cake Kid: Why didn't you finish cooking it? Riot: We only made 55 million dollars this month, we simply don't have the resources to finish this cake or the other cakes. But at least we have some nice frosting that you can buy for $5-30.
