At this rate I would rather they give Shen a 10 min cooldown ult

than they can just buff his entire kit to be more of a juggernaut that lean more toward tank.

His play style is already quite similar to them so why not balance him as the same type of champion Volibear Udyr Olaf Shyvana

Udyr "who needs an ult anyways"

Hell all four them function fine without their ult, their ult is only there to make it easier for them to do their thing. Unlike other juggernauts who ult are quite detrimental if they lose their ult.Darius Illaoi Yorick

Also I could now say my ult is on a Shen minute cooldown.

But he has a dash D:

So does Shyvanna and the counter play to Juggernaunt is to kite them, try kiting this guy Olaf . Juggernaut comes in all shape and size and there are many hybrids.

Shyvanna is a Diver/Juggernaunt, Volibear is a Tank/Jugger, Mordekaiser could be consider battle mage/jugger.

Yeah but Shyv's dash is an ult and doesn't CC you after it ends.

Yes but Shen would have less damage and less sticking power. She has speed boost which Shen don't have. And if he lean more toward tank his damage would be less than her by default. And her ult technically does cc you.

But Shen has a long Taunt. Which CC's you far more than Shyv's ult because Shyv is dashing during her CC and thus doesn't personally benefit from it. Shen's Taunt lets him get free hits on you and you can't kite or peel or escape.

His damage is already not bad in a duel, his Taunt really hurts for ranged champions, not to mention his Sunfires, Titanic, and the fact that they'll eat minion aggro which really, really, hurts if you're ranged. I mean, his dueling is already not bad due to %maxhealth magic damage which is up permanently once he gets lvl 9 (max leveled Q), and because his items give him a lot of DPS. 'Not bad' as in he can't hold his own against duelists, but against other tanks and bursty bruisers, he does just fine.

It could be argued that Shen has better stick because he actually has CC which makes you wanna hug him.

All you said is correct but what I really was getting as is I just want riot to balance him with more of Juggernaut/Tank in mind rather than a Tank/warden. Put more focus on him as a Juggernaut was all I was trying to say. Yes he has a dash but that shouldn't stop him from being consider a juggernaut there exist exception in a lot of the classes.

In other words, you'd prefer him to be a juggernaut/warden rather than a warden/juggernaut? Keep in mind that 'tank' isn't really a subclass. That being said, fighter/warden would be a lot more accurate. Considering he already builds a Tiamat item, that doesn't seem too far off.

There really aren't.

Yes this I couldn't figure out how to say this but this is pretty much what i'm saying just balance him more toward a juggernaut by diminishing his warden style with a 10 min cooldown on his ult.

The two probably most hated tank recently are both Solo lane Warden Maokai Poppy Although Maokai is getting changes in the Mid-Season tank rework I think Shen could be a good candidate to make solo lane warden work. With out being oppressive.

I think the way to do it is to make him more Juggernaut-ish. By emphasizing a juggernaut play style he would have the same weakness. Also unlike Poppy and Maokai his engage isn't as reliable because it is a skill shot. Because of this you would thing that he would do more damage but he doesn't Poppy and Mao has the better damage and their damage is AoE.

His Juggernaut play style would be like Olaf, Volibear, Shyv, and Udyr who although do decent AoE it is mainly meant to focus on one person.

Why woud you want shen to become garbage champions like udyr shyvana and voli?
