Do Pantheon and Twisted Fate really NEED global teleport ultimates?

I honestly get really tired of the global map presence these champions have just by reaching level six.

Can we reduce the range on their ultimates just enough so that they at least have to move out of lane to use them? Seems like every 2v2 becomes a 3v2 with these champions in the game.

Both of their ults have limited range, smaller than Sion's max ult range, so it is not considered "global".

TF's ult hasnt been global since s2

Before TF's ult was global, one of his normal skills was the global teleport, the ult just gave vision.
