Ranked should be accessible for 5 man premades only

Let's be real, SoloQ is an RNG fest. One man can't carry the game, but one man can lose it. Casuals with a couple dozens alts can easily afk with throw away accounts like how a certain person on this board admitted to a couple of weeks back. Normal should be for the casuals. If people are serious enough about ranked, they wouldn't shy away from looking for a pre-made.

THERE IS ABSOLUTE ZERO RESPONSIBILITY TO PERFORM IN SOLOQ. and this alone makes it a laughable "team game"

I have been saying this since day one, Soloq, in essence, is on its hands and knees begging, and I mean begging, for toxicity.

5 strangers of differing skill levels coming together to try and perform an orchestra level symphony is at best, a total joke. (hence why they don't arrange orchestras this way.)

I love league, but soloq is a mistake top to bottom and does very little to prove skill or promote utmost effort.

What you end up with is: "i dont know you, you suck, and i dont care what you think about it." If someone on one of my "teams" tried this, they would no longer have a team.

Soloq does one thing well, it proves how well you can play league of legends with absolute randomness and toxicity, which honestly, isnt how anyone wants to watch or play a game. (hence lcs being 5 man team and not 5 random high elo players bitching at each other about whom fucked up first.)

This is known, soloq sucks, and nothing will change becuase influx of liquid cash trumps any thoughts of having an actual competition in this game.

They use to. It wasn't very popular, required too many people to coordinate schedules for your consistent 5 man team (I know teams could have more than 5, so there was a chance for a few subs, but I think the cap was 7 or 8 people total).

Flex was intended to be the solution to that problem. With your teammates not set-in-stone, you could pull subs in from any player's friends list. To that extent, I'd say Flex succeeded.

Personally, I liked Flex more than Solo queue, even though I played Solo in all of my Flex games. It was more challenging and more rewarding at the same time.
