Tips on nidalee?

Alright children, gather 'round, because old OneTrickLoser right here is gonna learn y'all somethin'.

General Tips

• You can cancel your Cougar Q animation with a Q > W
• Use your human E on the ADC; it grants a decent amount of AS
• Your W can be used as a simple mini-ward. It's not much, but it can give you a glimpse of the other side of a wall and help you find enemies

Jungle Nid

• Best clear route is Blue > Gromp > Wolves > Chickens > Red > Krugs
  • This can be done leashless; you can practice that in customs
  • Kiting is very important.
  • Throw your spear at the buff when the timers are at 1 second for a near instant full damage spear when it spawns
  • Save Smite for Red and Krugs
  • Clear the first two Krugs from the camp; this will give you level 4 and save you some time and health
• To start I'd recommend going Q > E > W. You can go Q > W > E for some extra speed on your clears, but it's riskier
• Although it's riskier, you can also go Blue > Enemy Red or Blue > Gromp > Enemy Red and get out before the enemy jg gets there
• Try to gank while you have Red, and lead off with autos. Only throw the spear when you know you can blow a flash and/or land it
• I'll say it again because it's very important: Unless you know you can land it, SAVE YOUR SPEAR.
• Try to pressure lanes as fast and as hard as possible; your laners may not know how to use the advantages you give them, but tower gold is useful for everyone.

Lane Nid

• AD and AP both work, but have VERY different playstyles
• AD involves abusing human E and cougar Q AD scaling
• AP obviously involves using spears to chunk/assassinating targets
• Throw your spear just after an auto that will kill a minion; this can really surprise your opponent, as they may be expecting the spear to hit the minion

These are just some of the tips I could think of off the top of my head :) I'm planning on making a full on Nid guide at some point in the near future, so I'd be happy to share that with you when I'm done with it.

Land Spears.

For nid jg - Start with blue and do frog and wolves. You should max Q then E then W. Go to chickens and then red. Use your smite when you need to. BUT ONLY WHEN YOU NEEEEEED TO. You should back after this or after Krugs. Buy an upgraded machete and get the ap one. Then rush lich bane. Gank when you have red and abuse the burn. After lich get boots. Then buy rabadons or void staff. When spear shotting - ANTICIPATE. You can do some serious damage with just q and rq. Place traps in common bushes. Use pounce to travel in the jg. Steal blue occasionally. In a duel, start with cougar form and attack. Then switch to human and heal. Place a trap and q, because the passive refreshes ur ult. Use cougar q when they r low. everything he said is correct.. but here are some more tips.

practice raptors a lot.

go into a training game set yourself to lvl 3 and practice hitting all of them with swipe and pounce and just kiting them.

as for items..

DON'T always go if u are high elo and everyone knows how to ward, it's the better option yes.

but in lower elo pretty much no one wards... not even the support... sand even LESS people remove ENEMY vision. nidalee is a VERY hard champ to carry on as u can NEVER go in 1v5, and your team (at least in low elo) like to dive in 3v5 while you are splitpushing. go the best way to carry on her is to provide vision as well as placing traps at choke points, you are mobile can you can get in deep and place wards fairly easily. take to remove their wards. and place traps to avoid facechecking bushes.

ALWAYS rush t2 boots. i normally prefer because i can get 45% cdr with max build. but if u want to run 10% scaling cdr glyphs then are also good

is your CORE item, the moment you complete it.. will be your strongest point in the game. normally you rush it 3rd item (after t2 boots and runic) but lately with lethality the way it is you might want to grab a first. regardless after that you go for either or denenind on who on thier team is fed. if no on is fed.. and you ARE fed.. then you can rush an early .

after u finish you can solo drag. (but u better be damn sure they don't see you because your going to get REALLY LOW).

my full build usally looks like

rabbadons i usually complete last unless they stack MR which everyone seems to be too stupid to do in my elo, even if they have 100 mr is still more effective than .

if they have no AP on their team (which is more common now) you can skip and get hp and armor. u can also consider swapping for . if they are all tanky and u are not likely to bring them down with lich bane anyways. but u WILL lose a LOT of damage.

ALWAYS place and REPLACE , until u have no items slots left chances are you are going to be the only one on your team doing it..

If you look for any, and I mean any tip videos for Nidalee, what you're going to find is that you have to put a lot more effort and a lot more hope in luck to land her spears than most other abilities in the game, since they're too slow and thin.

And a jungler that can't reliably engage and has no cc whatsoever is just a detriment to the team.
