DEAR MORDE MAINS: Some questions!!

Dear Mordekaiser Mordekaiser players:

  1. Why do Morde supports max W (shield) first? Is it true this spell will heal even if you arent touching the shield zones? Or even touching creeps or enemies?

  2. Aren't Morde mains supposed to level Q first? It seems to do soooo much damage, I don't get why this is maxed last.

  3. How the hell do I keep Morde from dying? He feels so squishy.

  4. And finally.... when is a good time to use Morde support? Under what circumstances do you pick Morde support?

I don't want to burden my team and pick Morde when he can be detrimental to the lineup.

  1. Who the fuck plays Morde supports? But on the side as "AD carry Morde" or top lane Morde, your W should be maxed first since it's your one form of sustain & DoT damage in duels. You'll only get the healing if you manage to end the channel around as many enemies as you can, doesn't matter if you have a W buddy or not.

  2. Morde has a seriously hard time to stay near opponents since he has 0 CC. Unless if you're playing top against a retarded Yasuo or Riven who likes staying near your face, maxing Q is quite detrimental at bot lane.

  3. Rotate your abilities & hit as much enemies as you can. You can get inches & bits of shields by using your W on you & your targets, and stay near together during fights. Casting your E on as many enemy champions as you can can seriously get you beefed up.

  1. Morde's W heals him based on how much damage it deals when it's recast or ends. When cast on an ally, it also heals them for the same amount, which is very useful.

  2. You max W in a solo lane if you want to push. If you want to harass, you max E first instead. Q is a one-point wonder because it has high scalings but low base damages. Morde is also useless against kiting because he has no gapcloser.

  3. Rush either item 3146 if you're against a damage carry or item 3065 if you're fighting someone like Teemo or Akali. Then, you build Health AP items like item 3116 item 3151 which synergize with his abilities. Morde is primarily a drain tank, like Vlad, so the objective is maximizing healing and Health to lengthen your survival. Taking Runes like Ravenous Hunter and Taste of Blood are critical for midgame and endgame healing.

  4. Rather than Morde ADC? Morde support works best with a non-functional botlane (such as another melee carry like Fiora or Camille, or an AP DoT champ like Teemo or Singed). It's also a good pick if the enemy picks an enchanter and your ADC already wins their matchup.
