Let's talk meta and balance direction.

So we have for some time been in what is being called the tank meta. Despite this we are seeing a few non tanks in the classical tank positions. For toplane we have Lulu Rumble Riven For jungle we have junglers like Vi Nidalee RekSai LeeSin And support is often populated by utility supports.

I know there are many who think of this meta as one of the most diverse but while the recent changes are good I personally fear that a lot of this is about to change if riot continues down the path of their recent item changes. item 3071 is finally a useful item and has been focused into being a proper tank buster item and item 3153 has also received small buffs. Overall I am happy with these changes as they probably mean the return of bruisers or assassins that try to kill the adc since if they are faced with no threat they can easily build item 3035 item 3071 and ignore 54.5% of the tanks armor a situation where the tanks simply cannot survive.

My only worry is that this is the birth of a meta where you need 2 or 3 adc due to the shred options.

What are your worries? hopes? hopefully we can get a red in here and shed some light on what direction riot wants to go from now on since "increased diversity" is pretty vague.

I'm quite happy with these changes, tbh the tank meta is the first meta since I started playing which I didn't enjoy. I don't think that two ADCs will be needed, as BC will work better on melee bruiserish champions for the most part, and two ADCs are easier to counterbuild than an ADC and an APC like cass or azir.
