Too Many "Opps" Buttons?

I'm starting to feel like there are too many "opps" buttons in the game; mainly when it comes to items, summoners, and plants.

The core reason champions are designed to be squishy and immobile is because they are provided really strong abilities to make up for it. However, the more summoner spells, items, and environmental interactions that make them able to avoid death and escape without the need for their team backing them up, the more the cons of that champion start to no longer matter. Keep in mind this is just items, summoners and plants, not even talking about other champion abilities like Thresh lantern, Shen ult, Lulu ult, etc.

The removal or nerfs to these summoner spells, items, and plants would easily increase the difficulty and skill cap of League overall. It would reward good team play more, rather than "Dang, he had his flash up and I didn't so I guess he lives.". Games would become more intense, and would be less about the skill of an individual player and more about how your team works together. It would also open up champions in competitive that we barely get see, as assassins would have much more impact in the game, without having ridiculous numbers; aka Lethality buffs.

Items like Zhonyas that allow you to avoid all incoming damage, and wait for your cool downs or team to come back you up every two minutes just seems too strong. Most players just pop Zhonyas even if know they will still die, because by the time the next fight happens it will be up again. Yet if the cd was 4-5 minutes your choice in whether to use it or not use it becomes more important. Do you really need to use it now? or save it for later?

It's just something that's been on my mind, so I thought i'd bring it up and start a discussion.

What do you think about changes like these? Do you feel like removing or increasing the cool down of summoner spells, items and plants so players can't just press a button as often to correct their mistakes would be good for League overall?

On a personal note, I always thought that Flash should be removed from the game. Having a single summoner spell that is overall just better then every other one no matter your champion or comp(with a few exceptions of course), causes the same issues Riot had with the old Ghostblade as it was good that everyone was building it, then the same thing happened with the Lethality buffs. I think Flash falls into the same category.

Too many champions would be instantly non viable without flash. Riot admitted they can't remove it
