12% damage reduction (all damage) against the last champion you damaged.
In my opinion this items causes a lot of problems with certain champions because it makes them a lot stronger while also making them deceptively tanky. They should rework this item imo.

It only applies to one target (often the tank, who is NOT who you want the reduction against), It comes so much later in the game (compared to tabis), and you have to hit them first, which won't help you when you get stunned/surprised like Tabi's do.

You had to run AD/AS/Arm/Scaling MR runes, and use 18/9/0 Fervor. This was before it was nerfed - the old version worked VERY well on Urgot because it added a straight 140 (or whatever it was) bonus damage to his Q, rather than flat AD. You also hung onto Doran's for as long as possible, usually selling it to build your last item. The net effect was a LOT of damage reduction and pretty solid output from what appeared to be an otherwise squishy laner.

Häßlich1 votesI like getting Tabi and PD if I'm against a heavy AD team as Graves. Otherwise Berserker, Greaves tend to just output more dmg.
Dabrick011 votesI knew this was gonna be about PD before I even opened it up. ADC's don't build it because it does not increase their overall punch of their attacks. The reason it exists is to provide Mobility and Damage Reduction to Melee fighters and hypercarries. They aren't "deceptively tanky" the passive isn't hidden or anything. The people who build this item will get bursted down with come CC.
