Ok, I get it. you don't want healers in this game. But Soraka......
Is broken in my opinion in a few ways.
Pre lvl 6 Q - This is the only part of the game that you'll notice the damage it does OR the heal it does to yourself. W - heal is a little bit insane. No champion should be able to take someone from 1/3 health to full in 8 seconds. I think this is why healing specific supports were broken. It is truly horrible to lane against this. If you have an ADC that brings any sort of CC (vayne, draven, hell even a cait trap) and they land just ONE of em its impossible to lose trades. Even if you can get some sort of response or return some damage AS LONG as its on the ADC they will never catch up in terms of damage. E - AoE silence meh. Damage is not good. Silence can be used pretty effectively. Almost impossible to use for a snare with all the mobility now. Very hard to use to slow down a gank.
But my biggest problem with her pre 6 is that this skill set really FORCES her to do exaclty what a lot of people hate... stay way behind and heal. Make a positional mistake with her and your done. You CANNOT take any damage with the heal costing % health. If you're below 1/2 HP you're effectively made the lane a 1v2. You can't poke with Q to return some health because you'll run out of mana, push the lane, or get blown up when you are a few pixels out of position. You can W your adc, but this forces you to turtle / heal bot even more.
Post lvl 6 Q - If you aren't building full AP the damage is worthless, as is the heal. Even with a sub 100 AD enemy ADC it'll take you 2 or 3 landed Q's to get back one auto in terms of health. Normal last hitting by the opposing ADC is enough lifesteal to offset the damage even spamming this ability. W - Even more of a snowball / self killing ability now. The enemy ADC is starting to do decent damage, as is the mid. And you're ADC expects spam healing because you're... well... Soraka. Better find a brush to hide in and have a LOT of wards. Oh just FYI the heal range is insanely short. Positioning is even more critical now, especially in team fights. "Going in" to heal will get you blown up instantly. You also provide basically no peel or engage, so you're not really part of fights, you just try to stay out of range and spam W on your ADC. E - Silence is pretty nice now. But the root effect is really hard to use effectively. R - I Feel like an instant global heal is really stupid. All of the other global ults have some sort of warning / indicator / cast time. I don't even know how to fix this? Maybe make it some sort of are Mundo Ult style % heal for your team?
Does anyone else feel like she has no middle ground? Am I the only one that feels like you're not really a part in team fights?
