Went 7-3 all on Lee Sin, not sure if that has anything to do with it. Don't know why, I heard some plats are dropping to silver. I checked my MMR on op.gg and it was normal before the reset.

I'm not complaining I thought I did pretty well considering I've seen some plat players drop into silver after placements

And indeed you did! Congrats on that btw, just want to make sure everyone has a chance to understand how the systems work so they can have the right attitude to get down to some serious business. You've clearly already got it and I expect some great things from you this season! Go get em bud!
19808248_DEL1 votesEveryone keeps posting that people are placed "right where they should be." I believe this to be completely and utterly false. Cause if a person works their way up the ladder into gold 3/4 then gets shafted by going down into silver after placements than what is the point? Then people give the argument, "well if you're good then you can climb your way back up easily." This is also false. It's not "easy" to climb 5 ranks in solo queue. Players seem to think that somehow one "good" teammate can carry a whole team which is false as well in most cases. For example, if the "good" player goes 9/0 and the rest of the team combined is 0/15 they will still lose no matter who the "good" player is. Riot pretty much robs people of the hard work that is put in by players to get to that rank to begin with. One person does not make a team "good." The current system is seriously flawed and needs to be addressed but since us lowly players that make up the majority of people that play this game don't matter to Riot we will never get the attention that the "pro" players do. It's ridiculous.
