Are you afraid MYMU will ruin a main of yours?

By ruin I mean one of two things:

a. They change the champion enough to make it lose its identity (i.e. Mordekaiser, Graves) b. They buff the champion's stats to make them popular or pick/ban (i.e. Corki, Quinn)

What comes to mind for me is Malzahar. I like how he's not popular and I feel kinda unique playing him. I also like the whole skillset and while I want to see Voidlings more involved, I'm happy with him overall.

So, one part of me is interested in the rework, another part is afraid I'm gonna lose the champion I like (the one that can destroy any squishy with a Q, land an E-R combo on the assassin and make them a non factor and just use one skill on the minion wave and farm it while sitting back). Anyone feel the same way?

I am scared that they will further mess up Zyra rather than give her what she truly needs in order to be a meta mid laner again like she is intended to be....

I've heard they are going to balance Zyra around support? Which is terrible imo, because I hate facing her, she always gets a Sightstone+Liandry's and carries the game.

Yeah, I don't like that they are doing that. They said it's because that is where most people play her, but here's the thing...they want to play her mid...but they can't, so they play her where she can be played...in support....where she essentially was forced into....Riot's logic is astounding

Zyra is going to be balanced around support.

I like seeing Yasuo, Zed, Fizz and Akali suffer under my death stare while my space AIDS destroys them.

Can't blame a guy for enjoying a few things in life.

As long as people shut up about Galio, I think I'll be safe. He's perfectly balanced so Riot probly won't do anything with him unless people keep mentioning him.

They already confirmed they won't be going near Galio. The bad news is they're not going near Galio because they're intending to give him a Poppy/Sion/Taric-scale rework in the future.

As long as they keep the voice, because Galio's voice is godlike.

I'm worried that they're totally going to miss the mark on Vel'koz, by either making him burst oriented or by screwing with his awesome passive.

Ruin Lance1 votes

pretty sure they said they're keeping his passive but may make some small tweaks

Theiki Kayle1 votes

They should make Vel'Koz Q have an interaction with terrain (like new Graves Q) imo.

Velkoz Q is fine where it is, Its one of his defining abilities. All I really want to see is a change to his W.

Theiki Kayle1 votes

I was thinking like "Q splits in 2 and fires off 90 degrees to the side when it hits max range, if any of the two halves hit terrain, they bounce off it in a 90 degree angle"

So basically what it is now, except the two halves can bounce off terrain.

That would take away his over the wall poke though. His q is already hard enough to hit, and this would make it so much harder to hit in fights outside of lanes.

personally i'm gonna love that rework :>

I don't like malz very much

as far as i know the mage rework is gonna be much like what the adc and juggernaut reworks did small tweaks or making changes that give the champion its actual identity. as far as general success goes these were all rather done well (with the exception of a few champs biting the dust)

their general way of playing and might have been tweaked but stayed the same
