Reminder That Ranked Trolls Hold People Hostage In Champ Select.
Just got into a ranked queue and the game was doomed from the start. Bans were garbage (No Skarner, Mord, Garen, blah blah blah) and people were already arguing. First pick chooses Shaco jungle, second Cait ADC, I'm third and go Morg supp, forth chooses Teemo, and fifth locks in Azir. After throwing a tantrum, Azir says "GG, I'm just gonna AFK/troll/feed. Have fun, report Teemo." I had to dodge to avoid suffering a 20-40 minute game of pointless agony.
COME ON, RIOT, GET YOUR RANKED QUEUES UNDER CONTROL. Trolls can single-handedly ruin a game IN THE FUCKING CHAMP SELECT. This is unacceptable and ruins a major part of the game. In fact, I CANNOT play Ranked because of the incredible amount of trolls, feeders, griefers, AFKers, and generally toxic people.
And do NOT try to pull the "argument" of "Well if there's a toxic/feeding/trolling/AFKing player on your team, the enemy team will as well," because that is bullshit of the highest order. It is untrue in almost every case and is just a fanboy strawman.
My suggestion: Maybe add a kick-dodge function that requires like a 3/5 or 4/5 vote and if it passes, that player is kicked from the game and treated as dodging and the game requeues the remaining players.
