Reminder Yasuo is Toxic and Should Be Reworked.

Infinite mobility, bullshit passives (double crit + massive shield), anti-harass on a low CD, totally manaless kit, infinite harass on barely a CD (.7 secs once he gets Shiv) THAT CAN CRIT, and a massive multi-target nuke on a 20 second CD that gives a better-than-LW effect for 10-15 seconds.

He needs nothing more than an Avarice Blade and 2 health potions to absolutely 100-0 you, no matter HOW much armor you build. Thornmail? Fuck that, I have a shield and reusable LW on a 45s-20s CD! Frozen Heart? No problem, I already have Shiv + IE, so what's .02 extra CD more on my Q. GA? I'll just camp your corpse and defile you. CC? I bought a QSS AND GA AND Merc Treads, so up yours!

This guy is literally the most unfun "Champion" I've ever had the displeasure of playing, both as and against. There is no strategy to him and he requires NO other knock-ups to rape an entire team solo. And don't even bring win-rate into this, a champion can be total cancer without having a winrate of 60%+.

Please, Riot, rework Yasuo. I can't express how unfun his current state is to play against no matter who you're playing as. And the worst part is: Even if you set him behind, all he does is just farm for 5 more minutes and catches back up. Make him like Akali: Feast or famine, risk/reward, really REALLY bad if a good lead isn't established.

Edit: I love how butthurt Yasuo mains can be when their precious champ is brought up for anything except buffs. Continue downvoting, Yasuo mains, your champ won't get nerfed anyway because he's a popular pick in the LCS and he makes plays.

Reminder you seem to have no idea how to deal with Yasuo. I give you a tip, play Yasuo and realize how hard he is too play and how risky he is.

What difficulty? Every game that their jungler isn't the second midlaner, I run over people with little effort. Yasuo is low-tier easy to play with so much reward for so little risk. MagikarpUsedFly showed that a level 1 all-in with Yasuo's E is perfectly possible (and keep in mind, I don't think he plays much Yasuo at all) and he's only about the Plat level. Explain that without looking for a cheap cop-out like "His lane opponent was noob".

There's no risk to Yasuo unless you intentionally set yourself up that way for some otherworldly reason. Plain and simple.

The Yasuo in MagikarpUsedFly's video was made in a time where Soraka mid was his biggest counter, and was made before a lot of Yasuo's nerfs hit. Looking at the video I can clearly see his shield instantly regen to full while ulting, which hasn't been a thing for a while.

Your information is outdated.

Oh, and Yasuo probably has a higher skill floor than who you main.

I mostly agree, except that:

That's been added the very next patch Yasuo was released.

Beating bronze and silver players doesn't mean you can actually play the champ properly. Unless I win lane against someone plat+, I have to acknowledge that my winning could just be my opponent playing poorly.

Yasuo has a very strong lv 1 thats right, but after that he is not very strong without statikks. And you are a very sqishy melee carry who needs his team to engage because he explodes if focused.

Infinite mobility if he have creeps near him, without them 0; a passive shield that breaks with an aa; 26 s cd at level 1 on the skill that he usually max as last, that is a low cd, right??; you can laugh has you wish, the q is a skillshoot and can be missed; the multi target nuke (high damage ≠ nuke) blink you in the middle of the fight and you're squishy as fuck so you can't just use r at will and think to win; avarice blade is not nearly enough to 100-0 someone, so why this exaggeration?

And i don't want to surprise you, he's feast or famine. A 0-5 and underfarmed yasuo can't do shit, he can't ult without being exploded o cced to death.

You can't write bullshit cause you lose vs a champ, without any solid argument and then call "butthurt Yasuo mains" people that point out your wrong preconception about Yasuo. Someone pointed out some weakness of Yasuo and the only thing you could say was a stupid sentence without a valid response to the whole post.

The OP plays Yasuo and doesnt' like him, it isn't about someone complaining Yasuo is op and can't beat them.

#His crowd-controlling needs to be sanitized. That's it. Just that. I mean how can a gush of wind stop people from attacking? Gush of wind can annoy someone with an umbrella or reading a book. Not when fighting.

  1. The blinking to airborne targets with Last Breath [R] ought to not be a blink. Instead, it would use an extended and free variation of Sweeping Blade.
  2. The independent suspension from Last Breath [R] upon his targets could be adjusted a little to allow counterplay.

No tp-cc-dmg bullshit.

I feel like he needs to be reworked, but for the complete opposite reason you do.

I don't feel great when I see a Yasuo on my team, especially in ranked. Why? Because he's very likely going to be a feeder. Is that because he's a bad player? Possibly, but more likely it's going to be because one mistake as Yasuo costs you the entire game. Feast or famine champions are incredibly toxic. Yasuo is one of the easier ones to push over into famine mode compared to his peers.

Melee ADC is a failed concept, and they really need to pull a Fiora type rework for him. I feel like this will be a lot easier for the people trying to rework Yasuo. Keeping his identity, but adding more reliability to his gameplay while sacrificing some of his raw oppressive power. When these types of champions get fed, there is little counter play to them because they can click to delete you without thinking about it twice. It's a problem made even worse if your team cannot communicate well.

I remember what it was like playing a feast or famine champion in ranked. After bronze it stops being worth it because you end up failing more often that not. People learn not to feed you, especially early, and they learn your counters simply because they were wrecked by your champion so often in bronze. If that's the champion you fell in love with and decided to learn, then that's some tough luck because you didn't know any better.

People that make it past gold as a feast or famine champion are very skilled because you're often going to be up against your counter, a build that counters you, and people who know how to act towards you at each level, each cooldown, and after every ability. This can be devastating when all it takes for you to lose for the rest of the game is one mistake.

Im not a Yasuo main, Yasuo if fine. He can be beat and actually does take skill to optimize his damage output. He has received appropriate nerfs in the past. I think he is fine.

He is just like Akali in that he can't 1v5 a team unless he is 6 levels and 3 items ahead. chill dude.

If he has so many weaknesses, care to list some of them that aren't easily countered by cheap items like QSS and Merc Treads?

Indominus Blade5 votes
  1. His shield: Break it with 1 AA, wait for it to disappear, now you can trade with Yauso.
  2. His Q is a skill shot, move around when fighting him to make it miss.
  3. He has terrible mobility when there are no minions around, abuse that.
  4. His mobility is based on minions, so you can have a good estimation where he will be, use your skillshot to deny him based on minion positioning.
  5. Windwall is on a 26 sec cooldown, don't try to all in him with skill shots when he has windwall available.
  6. Yasuo excells in prolonged fights, if you can't outsustain him, try to outburst him.
  7. Don't try to build defensive items vs him, build offensive yourself and kill him before he kills you.
  8. Avoid his tornado at all costs, if he can't knock you up, he has no ultimate.

"His Q is a skillshot" I think I almost literally rofl'd at that.

" I think I almost literally rofl'd at that."

Why? It is actually a skillshot. And if the Yasuo is bad at said champ, he will miss alot of q's

You chose to joint his conversation to insult the OP. That's called harassment.

I don't care about your bronze opinion.

Take your holier-than-thou attitude elsewhere. Just because you're probably not Bronze (You're probably S5/B1 at best, little one) doesn't mean everyone else's opinions are negligible.
