Let's talk about correcting Sated.

Sated in theory is a cool item. In reality, it just hurts the game and has pretty much broken Jungle diversity. It has forced people to ban mostly sated junglers, and the team with one just about always wins the game. If you get to late game, and you don't have one of the top 5 sated junglers on your team, but the other team does, you literally have no chance of winning.

I liked the item at first, it made Kayle fun again, but after seeing it's abuses, like a Xin whose only offensive item was sated, but still being able to 3 shot me, as a full tank Singed, sort of puts in perspective how imbalanced, and impractical it's implementation into the game has been.

I am not suggesting the removal of it, but I am suggesting changing many champions that have on-hit effects, and making them not work with the sated devourer. Xin is a prime example of this, he has hard cc, a dash, and insane damage as a tank without Sated, so there is no reason for his kit to make uses of it. Another is Shyvana, who is supposed to be a tank, and should be building a Cinderhulk, but has become 100% pick/ban because of how broken the Sated Devourer makes her.

Something needs to be done to help solve the crux that this one item has brought into the game. The reality of the situation is that this item should have never gone live in its current state. I don't want it removed, but steps should be taken to correct the problems that it has created, and this should be a major priority for Riot.

Ask yourself, why should a full tank be doing more damage than an adc at full build? It shouldn't, but Sated makes it so. Perhaps you should not be permitted to build tank items if you want to use sated devourer? Thus creating a high risk/high reward situation. As it stands though, something needs to give.
