im so tired of playing as just a support. just a ward machine. who casts activated items on my adc. my adc always sucks anyways. always getting grabbed by blitz. or missing her last hits, falling behind, expecting others to carry her. im fed up with riot holding me back just because i like to play support. punishing me with a bad rank because their matchmaking system is bad. so from now on.im playing full ap casters as support. if you wanna complain about wards. go complain to riot to make me an item that doesnt interfere with my build that allows me to ward, and ill ward. dont blame me, you guys brought this on yourselves with your risky greedy play and riot wanting to screw over those of us who dont deserve it. ill carry from now on. just stay out of my way. this is soloque and ill be damned if let you drag me down any longer.
I am a support main and I find this statement false. Yes some people in Bronze who are ADCs are bad, but do not put a generalized statement saying all are bad. I have seen a few that actually were good at CS'ing and even knew how to position. If you say "but its impossible to climb our of bronze as a support. You can't do anything." That is also false. I know because I did it. I played support and got to silver. My friend played Thresh and got out of bronze and is now in plat I believe. Just because you play support doesn't mean your entire job is to ward and cast actives. Know the fact that when you play support you personally sign up to do a MAJORITY, not all but a decent say 75% of the warding on your team. This is simply what you signed up for when you play support. Now if you want a decent AP item that also gives wards, Eye of the Watcher is a perfectly fine item. The point of the item is to give wards and a little bit of damage. If Riot made an AP item that had good or even decent AP on it Mages would abuse the hell out of the item. They would make Mid lane near impossible to gank. Not to mention that people like Gragas or Elise would also abuse it as they could ward and deal damage. If Riot made a utility damage item the supports would not be the ones to abuse it, it would be the mages and AP junglers that would take advantage of it. This is why I believe that Eye of the Watchers is a fine item(maybe it could use a little bit of a buff) as an AP support warding utility item. It gives basically everything you could want as an AP caster support. You want mana regen, you've got it. Want free gold? Got that too. Want free vision? Wow would you look at that. Hell it even has CDR on it.
