This genre of games that was created in dota 2 that started this craze of mass produced clones, was an adaptation of the original Squad Tower D. That game was absolutely epic in every way. It didnt have all of this random B.S. it was a true tactics game. It was player versus computer though. The adaptation to player versus player was always something that was desired. This game is a clone. it wont do well. currently the most popular "auto chess" game on google play store isnt even in the top 100 games in popularity. The design of the game is decent for a mobil platform when you have a some time to kill while at the bank. It is not good enough for pc. the craze is dieing off and the genre is going the way of flappy bird.

BUT!!!! the initial concept behind squad tower D is very solid. It isnt riddled with gimmicky RNG. In case you are lazy. i will provide a link to some information about the original game, since it appears to me that you probably havent played it, or are too young to have heard about it and think this genre of game is new. *spoiler its not new at all

if you stick with this auto chess clone, itll fail. If you break from this auto chess clone and make a badass league of legends themed squad tower D (pvp) you will have a great game everyone will love and make a boat load of cash for a decade, and not just a quick cash grab then shut down development on a dead game.

the original would be legion td fromwc3, but tbh, i feel like Castle Fight or Holy War are much closer to the concept - and also without all that RNG. The there is also gem TD which used the 'combine X of the same to lvl up'.... And the first Standalone PvP autobattle probably was Art of War: Red Tides

But yea, i agree on the rest, if they keep it as a RNG infested autochess clone, it might work as a casual game especially if ported to mobile, but it will quickly fall of as a competetive game and stay fae behind it's potential. If they instead tried to make an PvP autobattle base on league and shaved of unneccesary RNG, it could become a great game.

I mean, it's like Funkys being the predecessor to Skylanders. Funkys was overshadowed bc it wasn't a multiplayer game. It was fun tho. Wish they would bring it back for the kiddies
