Another reason why this game is broken. Useless champions in bronze, silver and gold constantly get nerfed because challenger players find those champions too strong.
Dynikus1 votesthat's because players in bronze, silver, and gold aren't good mechanically, and the skill gap between players is huge. Challenger players are the most skilled and with the least gap in skill between players, so champion strength and balance means a lot more there. That's why the game is balanced around the top 1% rather than silver where most players sit.
Eedat1 votesHonestly I dont think the game is balnced around Challenger. They buff/nerf champs that are completely unviable at that level already. The game is more balanced around Plat/Diamond but they occasionally throw both Challenger and low ELO players a bone.
