Good starter for bard?

I am a bard main and I've played him any way any role imaginable. But obviously play him support the most and to date I still don't know which support item works best for him. RS is for melee/tanks and while bard can get pretty tanky if you play him that way it just feels really bad in him. ST works well especially with his meeps procing it too but he wanders mid/the jungle so much he doesn't get to use the stacks as often as others. AC also works fairly well especially with Talismans speed boost to help his roaming speed but since he gains from fallen minions it's really unbenificial to roam through the jungle too long for chimes.

Does anyone have any particular views on the support items for him?
