Stoneborne Pact Ashe

So I had made a post earlier about the possibility of Ashe support being made slightly more viable by the advent of Stoneborne Pact. That was all theoretical without any play so I wanted a followup post to talk about results after 10 games. I could go a bit more into detail but the tl;dr is:

Pros:

  1. ADC grade poke while the actual adc focuses on farm.
  2. Great peel (if you can orb walk)
  3. excellent vision with E
  4. Fantastic CC with ult
  5. Permaslow
  6. Permamark with Stoneborne Pact

Cons:

  1. Not tanky
  2. Not mobile
  3. Only hard cc lvl6
  4. Not a lot of adcs know how to play with the new mastery yet
  5. No real Magic damage (other than Ult)
  6. ADC in 2017

Ability order: R>W>E>Q

Runes: AD marks Armor Seals MR Glyphs AD Quints (since not farming its better for the extra AD for harass rather than traditional AS quints)

Build (in no particular order): Spellthiefs (because of the extra damage for your poke and is easily proc'ed) >Eye of the Watcher Ardent Censor (which works with Stoneborne Pact (OP)) Black Cleaver Redemption Runaans Boots (either mobies, tabi, or serks)

I've had a fair amount of success with this and have been blessed to not have made anyone mad by picking it since I asked for permission from my adc each time before locking in. I'm curious what other people think about this.

the benefit of the keystone is honestly way too small. might aswell go into ferocity.

Only issue, SBP heals based of the cc dealers max health, so picking a squishy champion doesn't help.

Looks like you have a 25% win rate with a small 4 game sample size, which is fine, but I think it could use some minor tweaks. https://na.op.gg/summoner/userName=breadsammich

To maximize the SBP heal (which scales off of max hp) you should probably incorporate frozen mallet instead of runaans. Runaans would only be useful for spreading the slow, but your w does that just fine.

Your current build will give you 50% cdr (10% from ardent censer, 10% from redemption, 10% from eye of the watcher, and 20% from black cleaver). The max cdr you can get is 40% (without masteries), so you are spending gold on useless stats. I would advise ardent censer, redemption, eye of the watcher, and lucidity boots, locket of the iron solari, frozen mallet. The lucidity boots decrease your cooldowns on flash and exhaust. The locket gives you more utility and tankiness to back up the 700 hp you get from frozen mallet. Alternatively, instead of frozen mallet you could get a randouins for extra tankiness and the active to help peel if someone gets on top of you.

I theorized the same concept on MF, with Rylai's, Liandry's, Ardent Censer, Eye of the Watchers and Redemption.

The healing is quite good, the earthen rune can be kept up almost permanently and she has AOE slow on E and R (Rylai's) so she can put the rune on even 5 person

I crunched numbers for SBP for a variety of supports before it came out, including Ashe. I figured it would only make a difference if your adc was constantly triggering the mark, but I'm glad you're at least finding success.

Interesting concept. I'm not a fan of adc "supports," personally, and I don't see this being used in Plat+, but the theory behind it is sound for your average player.
