Requesting: The reasoning behind Morgana's Tormented Soil nerfs

Morgana is never played competitively in the mid lane and more than likely, Riot wants to nerf Morgana's success (not dominance) in the support role.

So what makes Riot think the best way of nerfing support Morgana is to nerf mid lane Morgana's only wave clear skill?

Morgana has obvious weaknesses and strengths in the mid lane that might not be as obvious when playing her as a zero-farm support. One of these weaknesses is a lack of reliable damage. If her snare doesn't hit, chances are none of her other spells will hit. Furthermore, while she has a relatively safe laning phase, she isn't as strong as other mid laners in all-in fights and her cooldowns are absurdly long -- giving her significantly long moments where she's pretty much useless in skirmishes or full out team fights.

So, despite all these weaknesses, they decide to nerf her staple mid lane skill rather than nerf her supportive skills OR buff champions she might be shutting out in the bottom lane (let's face it, she doesn't dominate as hard as some other supports right now.)

IF this is intended as a mid lane buff, well, then that's pretty pathetic considering LeBlanc and Zed are pretty much shitting on everyone right now
