Veigar got his stun gutted because "counterplay"... where's the counterplay in Ekko's W??

2.25 second AOE stun that covers the entire lane and gives you a 1000 health shield

Balanced much???

It has a 3 second delay ... you can literally walk from one side to the other before it goes off

...The 3 second wind up time with Ekko sending out a time clone of himself to bat the object? The only problem I have with its myriad of counterplay is that you have zero warning you are about to get stun slapped if he fires it from fog of war, as otherwise it gives you ample warning.

The shield can stay if the heal on his ult is removed or massively nerfed.

The delay where you can see it and move before it becomes active?

Remember when Veigar was in the .75 second club?

Ekko has him beat with the 3 second delay. If 2.25 seconds AOE stun is broken, then what about a delay that lasts even longer?

Checkmate.

More cast time, same delay where the enemy can see it.

The stun lasts longer than the shield though. So if you land the stun, the shield won't be doing anything.
