Aatrox is so UP lol he wins lane but cant do shit in teamfights he gets instabursted, or if you go tank you do no damage and still get popped. He is actually useless

Aatrox needs reworked, he's one of the few champions that both deserves to be nerfed into the ground and was recognized as such by Riot. He snowballs too hard when he reaches draintank status, and he tower dives way too easily.

Basically, he got the old Poppy treatment. Extremely ridiculously strong if viable, so the only way to keep him in check is to make him garbage until they can afford to rework him completely.

umm... Irelia

For real though, Irelia has mobility, 75 true damage on hit, stun/slow and survivabilty and can just generally do everything aatrox can do but waay better. while Aatrox cant get a buff to his base stats? The point im trying to make here is that there are champions like Irelia who can never get shut down but Riot wont allow Aatrox to even be kind of good? its these inconsistencies that make me wonder if Riot even know what theyre doing.

Lol when did I say I was good at him? all I said was I used to main him and he is an extremely squishy champion especially for his class. that is a fact. anyone who plays him at least once will know that hes as squishy as a kalista. To answer your question no I havent. I dont see how that relates to aatrox's current state. thats like saying my dell pc was good back in 2002 so I never have to upgrade it. They did allow him to be good. And it was horrible for the game as a whole. Maybe if you explore and think instead jumping to "lol Riot sucks amirite guys?" then you might actually realize that Aatrox needs a complete rework.

Basically sustain is a kind of champion design which is kind of predestined to be unhealthy and with aatrox's kit taken to all sorts of extremes, he could be built like a bruiser who would out sustain nearly everyone. He honestly had to be nerfed simply because he his passive and his innate life steal made him very safe when trading with opponents letting him even commit what would be suicidal dives and get off scot free.

Aatrox was also designed as a split pusher back when splitpushing was a meta similar to Tryndamere.

Garen's still seems fine, Yorick & Urgot are still on the rework list, Kalista's constant nerfs were intentional if you paid attention, Nunu "could" use a rework as well, and Nasus also seems fine to me.

the last aatrox i have seen was 100 games ago and he snowballed so hard that he went the full crit build and carried. the last one before that (was not me) was 300 games ago, and the one before that was about 500 games ago and went pure tank xD

if he gets ahead and played right with a team that follows him up be can be deadly.

full damage/life steal forces you to focus him in a fight with hard cc to shut him down. now the adc and mid can come in hard to clean up with little cc to be slapped in them.
