Do you know what's far more BS? Champs like Zed and Ekko who can one-shot you in the same way but also get mobility and safety on top of it.

Nah they don't just press r, Ekko can but he needs to do it right. Zed is currently a pretty weak champ so I'll just go ahead and ignore you if you are going to complain about him.

Well Syndra's pretty much the weakest mid in the game so I guess that makes your thread irrelevant?

You're talking about how it feels to play against champs and Zed is the king of bullshit.

Ekko can but he needs to do it right.

What he needs to set up his ult? Kind of like Syndra does?

Ok buddy, I said IF SYNDRA EVER GETS BUFFED. I've never actually lost to zed in lane as any champ in a long time. Syndra can miss every ability and still do 1260+160%ap. Ekko's ult isn't point and click it actually something where if you get hit, you probably really deserved it. Like I said im not gonna bother arguing about Zed, he just isn't even a good champ right now.

Also there is nothing saying she is the weakest mid laner her win rate is quite average, she is weak but definitely not the weakest.

No it's not, average implies in the 49-51% range. Syndra's win rate is bellow 48%, well bellow average.

By definition average is a range containing 67% of all samples. Out of all mid laners 48-52% win rates contain 33% of champs. It's hard to perform averages on mid lane win rates though due to a heavy positive skew in the data.

When you do create an average range Syndra is the weakest of the 'average' champs. The only champs bellow her are basically outliers though. After from Syndra onwards win rates drop off substantially.

You also should never take analysis of win rates seriously. They mean nothing. Do you know which champs have win rates lower than Syndra? Azir, Viktor and Orianna. All three of these champs are top mid lane picks right now.

By the same token Akali is also bellow her and she's an unviable piece of trash.

This is basically what people mean when they say winrates mean nothing.

That right there my friend is a grade A arguement. I completely understand what you are saying. Syndra is currently a weak champion. See you don't have to down vote to make yourself feel right :^). But back on topic, I know we all remember how unfun it was when syndra was strong. Her ability to bully a huge majority of the champs and her very bullshit ultimate. This thread is simply saying, if riot every buffs Syndra back into the game, they should really do something about her ult. We don't want a repeat of the past.

Syndra is probably one of the weakest though. There's just not really any reason to pick her over most Mid laners. Aside from her fair range, not that much is great in her kit. She's skill shot reliant, extremely mana hungry, no mobility, no passive until level 9+, mediocre CC, extremely weak against tanks, needs to get ahead to do any amount of damage, and even if she does get ahead she's easy to shutdown.

She's basically an assassin if they were immobile and mana starved. She does really well against squishys, but she usually relies on blowing them up and snowballing, if she doesn't she's useless.

Why are you staying in 750 range of Syndra if she has 4 spheres on the field? Like, really? If she hasn't hit you with her stun or her slow AND she has 3 or more spheres on the field, you're a complete idiot for letting her press R.

Getting killed by a Syndra who missed all her skillshots is 100% the fault of the person who died.
