The recent Zed post in gameplay with the season 3 scarra video is completely wrong.

The op of that post claims that this video is proof of a huge increase of dmg. He fills the title with stuff like 9/1 300 farm at 28 minutes, but fails to mention that Zed was sitting on more than 2k gold which is about 6-7 kills worth of gold and fails to mention that Zed didnt use an auto, his passive, Bork or ignite. The only thing Zed lands here is an e and 2 q's behind minions.

(Skip to 30:45 if it doesnt skip) In this video you see Faker playing Zed in season 4. He lands a auto e Bork with ultimate and caitlyn barriers the pop at the last second. It wouldve almost killed her. Zed has always been pumping out damage like this, dont try to form a lie by covering up all the mistakes Scarra made in that video. Other than that I do agree that Zed players would enjoy old Zed more than this Zed, but that post was still bullshit.

I downvoted it right there, all she did was land a E and run away, dudes entire post was bias I can go on ages about how bad it was but the fact it reached the front page already shows you the biases that run through the boards.

you can go into a custom game, spend the same amount of gold on zed and have the vayne at same stats, you will quickly find out that vayne dies to that combo now 100% of the time.

Champion damage over the seasons haven't changed all that much.

Its the sources of damage that have increased while champion damage has stayed relatively the same.

A Zed of season 3 did not have the additional damage from:

Electrocute Sudden Impact Zombie Ward / Eyeball Collection Absolute Focus Gathering Storm Bonus AD from Ult Duskblade Lethality

Etc Etc Etc

The damage overall did in fact increase.

OP you're clueless and missing the point.

In this season and the current state of the game Zed can literally almost instantly 100-0 after a single lethality item WITHOUT EVEN ULTING. And thats at like 10 minute in let alone the 30 min point of the clip. This was NEVER possible in seasons 3/4 unless you were godly fed and massively ahead in levels. Zed used to need his ult reliably kill people, as was his design intent, now he literally just does one basic ability combo while not even fed to 100-0 any squishy.

Your counter example proves nothing, because that Caitlyn would be dead in todays game.

That poster also blatantly mentioned that Zed was four levels ahead of the Vayne. Then proceeded to talk about how much better it was then because, "look at how little damage Vayne is doing!!!"

The game still had a lot less damage back then and this can not be denied. There are plenty other examples even when you watch videos from last season.

I mean we all know this but its not going to change anything. People who want to circlejerk about Zed are gonna keep saying "he landed everything" when he didnt land a single auto, didnt ignite, didnt BotRK, had reduced damage on his Qs from hitting minions first, and already wasted his W to get there. The OP of that thread was using at least three account to manipulate votes anyway
