The support item nerfs are not needed at all it's just another punch in the face that enchanters (that are not Nami or Janna) have to suffer...again. You take age to balance broken champs, you keep insane dmg in the game, but OMG! Enchanters in top are gonna destroy the game, prepare the hammer nerf!

Gues what? Riot was really fast ad balancing this thing (and now tank supports took their place, ah) but they just don't want them viable at all except their favourites. While you pump up brawlers in top, (hello death's dance HUGE buff, hello botrk buff on melee) tank top laners are still bad at tanking, even if u add moar dmg. Only Ornn is viable for obvious reasons.

How much gold i'll generate with enchanters now? Idk...maybe they just want to us to be ward bots after all.

But...but you get the same amount of gold in the spot where they intended that spellthief and sickle were meant to go. In solo lanes the items proccing + minion gold meant that champions easily able to proc the item were essentially able to hard funnel during laning phase to get their items significantly faster than expected.

You don't get less gold, they just made it so supports aren't uninteractive funnel bots - and they definitely were, soraka/sona top just hugged tower and pressed buttons on cooldown to get spellthief's and push melee champions out of lane . Don't try and pretend that your gold gen is getting nerfed when we both know it isn't. In the intended roles for the support items those champions will do just fine.

"support item nerfs" - requiring allies to be nearby to generate gold - are actually a future proofing nerfs to stop those items from being abused in solo lanes. Although i think that the restriction should be lifted once you get 500g, allowing supports to do things along post-lane phase.

Literally only two melee's will benefit from the BoTRK buff. Trundle and Yasuo. No other melee's are effected. Deaths Dance changes got pulled and was honestly just a sidegrade. A few enchanters aren't the best but plenty are strong right now, namely Janna Nami Lulu and Yuumi. It's not like every bruiser or every tank or every mage or every marksman is strong either...

Wait you leave your ~~personal slave~~ adc? that seems harmful to your overall health you should never do that when your ~~personal slave~~ adc can take you places for you.
