Why everyone is ragequitting even in ranked now?

Lately i found the amount of ragequits so much high! It's not just episodes. A lot of people just quit the game after one freaking death in lane, and most of them are toplaners (well, i can understand their situation but it's not an excuse). Inting and trolling has the same problem...it's like no one cares anymore.

The ragequit teammate it's still my most hated situation. Ever.

Probably because losing is today is way more frustrating then in previous seasons. When you lose today you will get bursted down again and again and again without any chance to do something against it.

When defense is shit or damage is high toxicity is higher.

Honestly a lot of times one death makes lane feel not winnable, so instead of wasting time they just leave.

It’s a mentality issue that comes with high damage hopeless feeling metas.

Speaking as someone who so call "rage quits" a lot of ranked matches let me see if I can enlighten you. I've played since season 5 and I'm guessing quite a few still around today have been playing a lot longer. This "never surrender" approach to the game was far more relevant then. In season 5 and probably earlier, a score line of say, 5-22 didn't mean a sure loss. In fact, a high percentage of these games eventually became even, with quite a lot of comebacks. However, since season 8, 5-22 means game over and only a few of us have caught on to the change. This creates a situation where there are a lot of people who still refuse to surrender with the few of us who have realized that the game has changed. So, we rage quit so as not to waste time. If more people would realize sooner when a game is unwinnable, then we wouldn't need to leave games because of stubborn people.

Because there's no point to trying, and Riot doesn't punish you.

inb4 "REEE IF THEY BAN FOR 1 AFK THEN WHAT ABOUT ACTUAL EMERGENCIES REEEEEE"

Riot needs about 7 afks for a punishment. You know what I do when I have an emergency or connection issues? I stop playing until I know it's all fixed. Most afks I had in a week was 3. 1 for internet, 1 for when the power went out, and 1 when I heard a loud crash in my kitchen. The fact I wasn't punished was fucking baffling.

With how toxic and shitty the gameplay is right now who can you blame. I'm honest and tell you i've ragequitted more games this season than the last 9 years of league combined. When i'm talking about the game everything is toxic. Getting permanently banned, chatrestricted and shit for saying simple stuff made me realize it's not worth it. Even without any insults everything seems to be "toxic" nowadays.

So if i'm playing for example a lanebully toplane get camped to hell while botlane is losing despite playing 4v2 with my team i take the shortway out and save me the time, nerves and frustration. Why even bother. Haven't even gotten a leaverbuster after ragequitting three games in a row. Riot just doesn't give a fuck at all.

Weak mental.

People buy into the "gg 2-0 at 8 minutes FF". They start caring less, feeding further, etc. "Never say die" mentality is gone because people find any game that's not a basic absolute stomp or a 1-1 slugfest completely unwinnable. Games can still be brought back but frankly you can't bring anything back when your mid laner mentally afks because Irelia is 2-0 with 50 CS at 13 minutes.

It may not be as much a rage quit as you may think. The servers ever since clash came out have been very buggy, people have very high ping and it leaves people more inclined to leaving, hell, even ive left a few matches because of this, their internet could have also cut out, plenty of possible reasons. Some of them are rage quits, im sure, but not all of them.

Season 9 is breaking people mentally.

Anatera9/10/2019, 4:32:35 AM5 votes

The game pisses people off because it's more frustrating than it needs to be.

Zullar9/10/2019, 9:07:22 PM4 votes

People rage quit because comebacks are next to impossible with the current state of league.

Being at a permanent disadvantage due to being down like 2 infernal drakes just ruins the game.

Because all you need is 1 death to start the snowball. A 400 gold lead in bot lane spells the end of ever being able to engage the enemy laner, even in mid as well as an extra longsword or spellbook assures you win every single trade, making you reliant on your jungler to bring you back online or watch yourself being starved off CS unless you want to lose half your health or die altogether to an all-in.

Hi im 129/10/2019, 1:00:52 AM4 votes

because it doesn't get you punished like saying bad words does, yeah that's pretty much it.

Astrovert9/10/2019, 6:36:23 AM4 votes

Toxicity at what seems a all time high. Congrats.

because playing from behind is worse than ever before. whats the point of playing if you cant even get into xp range.
