A few features Riot should implement

I do not think Riot currently records champion select or post game chat, which I think needs to happen. Some people like this Yi I just had in my game was super toxic both post game and pregame but not in game so he would not get banned. In champ select, he called everyone on our team %%%got three times and post game he said bitch, cock and fucker just about 5 times a piece. Being toxic in champ select and post game chat should be a punishable offense in my opinion.

This brings me to my second point. Riot should implement some sort of way to kick someone or at least report someone in champion select. There have been too many times that I or some other poor and innocent dude has had to dodge just because one guy was being a total douche in champ select. Why should the people who are cooperating and willing to take one for the team and dodge, lose LP and time, while the people who are being unreasonable jerks get away without any consequences?

In my last game, our mid laner was calling our jungler a %%%got and asshole in champ select for NO REASON at all and then he locked in master yi with smite even though he was mid lane. I'm pretty sure our jungle did not even say a word the whole time. He just threw a tantrum for no good reason. In fact he never even asked if he could have jungle so all of us thought he was kidding around or something at first. I'm pretty sure the jungle would have just let him take it had he just asked, so I do not know what his problem was. I did not want to dodge again because I had already dodged the champ select before that, which would result in me losing 10 LP and a lot of time. In hindsight, I probably should have dodged because I just lost even more LP and time, but at the same time I am glad I did not because we managed to get a 9x on the toxic master yi. I don't know if he'll get banned because he was only very toxic pregame and postgame, he didn't say a word during the game because if he did, he'd get banned for sure. So why are the nice players being punished while the toxic one often gets what they want?

My solution to this is to either implement a champion select reporting system or a champion select kicking system. I usually end up hating myself when I dodge because somebody is being an asshole in champion select because I know that they will not get punished and they will keep forcing good people to dodge until they get the role that they want. By implementing a reporting system in champion select and a system to keep track of champion select chat, I will be able to rest easy knowing that even though I dodged, the person who was acting out may be punished just yet. However, whenever I dodge right now in that type of situation all I know is that I just lost at least 3 lp and 6 minutes because somebody else was being an asshole. And guess who doesn't lose ANYTHING? Of course the guy being an asshole. Another solution to this problem (though I am not sure of the details) would be an in game kicking system. However, there should be some features put in place so that it is not abused by premades or something. For example, if someone is being a jerk in champion select the other four members could unanimously vote to kick him out and he would either lose LP, be locked out of queue for a while, or both. This way, people cannot just choose to be an asshole in champion select and hope somebody else to dodge so that they can get the role they want next queue.

tl;dr Riot should implement a champion select report system or a kicking system to discourage people from being assholes in champion select by actually punishing them instead of forcing good people to dodge.

Also not too sure which board section this should go in

agree, but sometimes someone want to go antimeta, and this would make him become over kicked or reported and dont would let him play as him want, and this is not a problem if he know what are doing, not like a temmo jungler whit tiamat that end 0/16 and this is hard to predict in champion selection.

but a toxic player should be easy to detect, and this should be trigger a kick out vote event for the other 4 members in the case that only one be toxic.

That is a good point, so I don't know exactly how a kick system would work, but with the report system, the reports would work just like any other report. A champion select report would need proof in order to punish the person, and going off meta is not a punishable offense. However, if you are intentionally trying to steal someone else's roll, or just being super toxic, that is.

yes but too many people cant see a garen mid, Ahri jungle, Jhin Support (as example) whitout think that is a troll that only want the chaos and destruction of her own team, but you had your point, the rol stealing not are rares and this should be punished, but automatic detect this is hard because some players are agree to echange rols.

the problem of make reports always enabled is that this cause a lot of baseless reports (That would make difficult to find a guilty), and make it automatic make hard to detect some infraction but toxic is the only one that can be easy for riot to implement.

Unfortunately riot does not hear a comment unless it has many views. item 3151

Yeah so I'm saying for the report system it'll be just like regular reports. You may need chat logs and stuff from champ select to back it up. Also, some cases aren't too hard to detect. For example, the Master yi i was talking about has only played jungle in his past 20 games or so, which seems pretty fishy. Also there were multiple instances where his team had two junglers which meant that he stole somebody's role. So if there are repeat offenders like this, it should not be too hard to detect.

that's true, and i know that is very easy to implement but riot don't listen her players.

Well, I mean sometimes they do I guess. It was worth a shot

Remember that the remake and replay architecture takes 3 or 4 years. and the remake is very bad maybe in some years.

True, but in the case of an AFK in previous years, people who AFK or disconnect often still get punished. However, people like the Yi I played with do not because they only say stuff in champ select and post game and because there is no report option for "stealing a role." Maybe refusal to communicate with the team.

But I did a quick skim through his past 30 or so matches and he had smite every game and in 4 of those games, another one of his teammates was jungle as well, which means he stole their role. That means in the other 26 or so cases he either got jungle, got another role but forced his jungler to switch with him, or he instalocked jungle so there were two junglers in champ select, which provoked one of his poor teammates to dodge and lose LP and time because he is being an asshole. The fact that he is doing this without getting punished in some sort of way just appalls me as I have never seen anybody do that in champ select consistently.

Here's a good feature they should add:

#Balance.

Jokes aside, this probably belongs in Player Behavior & Moderation
