Just about when I thought that I've seen everything

I encountered a player so toxic that it made everyone else I've ever played with look like Santa. So everything's going fine in champ select. Our team banned kindred and twisted fate so far. I forgot who the other team banned, but Fizz and Zed were open. I always thought Zed was easier to deal with so I chose the lesser of two evils and banned Fizz.

Then their first pick picks zed. Our mid, starts flaming me saying "GG you just lost us this game". I defended myself saying that I had to choose between Fizz or Zed. Then he starts calling me dumb and implying I was mentally challenged just because Zed has like a 90% banrate and Fizz doesn't. I keep my cool saying that Zed isn't hard to deal with and our support also says that Zed isn't too bad because he falls off later. I even offer to go mid because I can destroy Zed in lane. He proceeds to completely ignore my offer and our jungle asks him to pick Volibear for him.

He actually picks voli and I think that he isn't too bad after all even though he was calling me nasty stuff just for not banning Zed. The mid laner then asks the jungle to pick Ahri for him. At that point I decide to go to the bathroom. I come back and the game was already loading. Our mid laner did not trade with the jungle and kept Voli. So we had a voli with ignite and an ahri with smite. Then the mid laner refuses to let Ahri go midlane so she is forced to jungle while he goes mid. I get frustrated around 1:40 and type into all chat "please report our volibear started flaming me in champ select and calling me dumb just because I did not ban zed" Then he starts to play victim saying "you know this top lane (me) is toxic when he calls me out before two minutes" He then says "Please do the community a favor by banning this toxic dude" and in teamchat he calls me and I quote " a toxic shit." Our teammates decide to remain quite on this one so it is just us two accusing each other for like a minute. He starts saying that I am toxic and dumb and losing us the game. I decide to mute him and focus on my lane. I proceed to get first blood as darius. 15 minutes in and I'm the only doing well. I don't even care that we lost and that I am doing well. Their jungle camps me and needless to say we don't even have a jungle. Ahri decides to go mid as well so we have a double mid because she couldn't clear at all. Well needless to say we lost the game and I am the only one who went positive. At the postgame lobby Volibear says something along the lines like: Darius, when you lose your account for trolling and being toxic I hope you remember this game. I was the only one on my team who did well so I asked how was I trolling and then I called him the toxic one and just told me to kill myself. Just makes me wonder if this person was either super tilted or just genuinely evil.
