Extraction event feedback and what Riot learned

After playing so many games of the Extraction event, I've officially quit trying to get the quests and playing the mode overall. I enjoyed playing it and didn't mind playing just to play (no personal quest goal in mind or even achievable). The problem I have with this game mode is how miserable the multiplayer aspect turned out to be. I have to assume Riot enabled ff00:01 because they knew how flawed the game mode quests were going to be in a public multiplayer setting, and they released it anyways.

It turned out to be a HUGE disappointment for me knowing if I flat out dodge in champ select, I would be punished. If I go into the game, it might even take longer than 5 minutes to lose and go to a new game because 4 people will try, and 1 will afk. I think Riot underestimated how self-centered and petty players would be in a public game mode that allows you to ff00:01. Would have it been a better experience if we left the ff timer at 15 minutes or removed it all together?

My question is really for Riot's game mode developement team (whatever their team title may be). Going forward, what will you take from this experience? If you could go back and re-release it, what changes would you have made?

Will/would you change the game mode difficulties to be more in line with the quest goals? Will/would you change the quest goals to be less team-oriented? Do you feel it was executed properly? Those who complete them complete them, and those who don't just miss out?

Thank you for taking the time!
