Objective Proof That We Need More Bans.

No, literally no, looking at this disgusts me. If you guys played league of legends a while back, you might remember how old ban trends used to go -- There would be 5-6 champions at any given time that absolutely dominated ban rates, such as Kassadin, Zac, Vi, Cho'gath and Jinx, and everything else would be much more panned out. That's not whats going on right now.

Right now, there are a good 30 champions that have above a 5% banrate. Then almost EVERYTHING else below has a >1% banrate, and most things don't even get above a .3% banrate. This is not what this game is supposed to be like. The meta is so horrifyingly concrete right now, that you either play anything within this 30 champions or you basically commit ELO suicide. We need more bans, I think 5 per team totalling to 10.

That or you guys need to start hitting everything in this pool of 30 HARD, so that the banrates are much more balanced out. I enjoyed the game alot more when there were like 5 focal point champions that everyone needed to ban, then everything else was free game.

Honestly it seems to me that this is an IMPROVEMENT. Having 30 champs ban worthy is better than having 5 or 6.

That being said, I think there's only 3 or 4 champs that are a must ban - the rest are just top tier champs

Thing is, they need to pick a direction and commit to it. And that means either shredding these guys, or buffing the shit out of everyone else.

All concerns about power creep have gone out the window- Riot is fully committed to it through mobility creep, which is only academically distinct. Getting the game to a state where everyone is broken is preferable to watching Riot nerf the shit out of random champs for literally no reason while ignoring others.

In a perfect world, this would be different. However, there's such a large champion pool and item pool, I don't see how Riot could ever perfectly balance everything.

Best case scenario, everything would be on the same power level. Therefor, personally, I think having more than 6 champions on the "top tier" is an improvement or step in the right direction.

I agree with you, which is why I cringe at the wrong use of the word "objective" in the title.

Not to mention this list may be skewed rates due to different elos. In plat/low diamond elo (over 100 games) I literally haven't seen Nid, Kindred, Gp, or kalista banned ever

I'm not sure why people ban Fiora, her win rate is 0.1% off of 50%

Eh, I'm on the fence if we need more bans or not. I'ma see how this new mage update goes before I jump.
